Is that mandatory or can you insist on doing it yourself?
Mandatory I guess, as they know what they need from the engine, plus there will be heath and safety issues. I wouldnt worry about it though... are you protective over your car?
yes I have BIG issues paperbag

I have to say that when my car was on the rollers the operator was more gentle than I am on the road track, progressively winding the car up through the gears and building up steadily, whilst monitoring the progress very carefully, I was most impressed..and deafened!

Can I put a vote in for Vixpy1 and Surrey RR at this point - was very impressed with him and the way he went about my RR run.

(But it was very difficult handing my baby over to him for it).

I was sat outside the Bierodrome on the Kingsway a few weeks ago and you went past in your VXR Dizeee. Have to say if you are a person who believes loudness is the key feature of an exhuast then you must be happy with yours.

Personally it was a bit much for me...

Would have just left work. Must have been a weekend... The car would have been cold hence it would have been particularly loud and no doubt banged a few times. It does settle down a little once it's warmed up though wink

Hi Issey...

It can be almost silent on tick over. Just gets loud when you use the loud pedal...

Yeah on tick over it is near silent, i think my vovlo's might be louder at standstill biggrin

I heard you drive off a little while ago and i thought that the sound suited the car well.

Look out for the chav around with rover 416 thats a bit on the loud side

Which the other day he was revving to 3k in tescos petrol staion to 'show off' to his mate in a corsa, before racing off to hang outside the chippy in new haw rolleyes
