My daughter is getting that TVR grin that I sport everytime I go for a ride in 1 of our TVRs. Until she gets better with stop and go traffic, I want her to stay out of the city. She is happy on the double lane highways here in the country but she says "there aren't enough boys to tease with her car." I just may have created a monster.

I was going to ask how the hell your daughter manages to get insurance on a TVR at age 18 but then I spotted that you're in the land where things are treated a little more sensibly. Good Job, as you colonials say. wink

The Saturn Vue beside her TVR is hers and all 3 of our TVRs are insured on her policy. Now that is a switch. The 2009 Saturn is $3100.00 per year and her supercharged 73 2500M is under $400.00 a year and it is insured for its appraisal
of $24,000.00(replacement costs so they say.) I am named jointly on her policy but just for 2 years and then it is all hers. My V8 Taimar is about $1,000.00 a year and the Spousal Units V8 Taimar is about $650.00 a year. It is a special type of policy that guys with sportcars go for but you have to have atleast 1 daily driver vehicle also on it.

Well I have created a TVR monster. She wants to take the car to the local show and shine on Wednesday night. She has also found two more shows for the weekend. Guess I will have to put my foot down and allow one show on the weekend. There is no way that I can get my stuff done if she sets our schedule. Yes the monster that I created is coming back to bite me in the backside. But the TVR name shouldn't be lost in our neck of the woods.
