That's a right old mix if Bangle style flame surfaces, styling lines, features, and shapes, but it somehow all works as a cohesive bodystyle. The gunmetal paint helps, but that is a seriously nice looking car.

That actually looks reall good! Nice alternative to the boring 320D M Sport's and Audi A4 S-Line's that everyone seems to buy.

Very jdm in terms of styling, a lot more so than the older models - i actually really like it.

The wheels do look somewhat dwarfed though.

We had our Civic in for it's first service today and were looking at an Accord Tourer. It was a bottom of the range ES spec and the 16 inch wheels really looked tiny.

My Mum bought a Red Accord ES GT (I think) recently, it's got the Sport Kit on it. 2.2L Diesel, kinda wished she had thought about getting a petrol one, but for the miles she does diesel was the obvious choice.

They're a lovely car. And her's is full of kit, iPod connection (Which I stumbled upon by accident, after we had picked up the car.. ha), Bluetooth etc.

The Focus ST is nice..As for the Honda..That is justy tacky..
How's that tacky?

Think it looks really smart. Like the colour too...
I think that colour is called Polished Metal. They are making the Civic in that colour this year too and the one's I have seen look really good.

Sadly my company car allowance wouldn't stretch to it, nor could I wait 5 months for one to be built so my Civic comes next weekend is red.
Is this another car after the Clio Catherine??
Funnily enough I got rid of mine (172) and went Honda, though its a 2.4 Type S '04 Accord this time.

Just tacky? I assume Nismo has a skyline or GTR..... The accord IS a family car... smile

Though I'm still yet to warm to the big wheelarches, probably why 17"s look tiny. My CL9 has (IMO) a nicer side silhouette.

Hi Steve, yes the Clio went last December. We were looking for something a bit bigger, still reasonably quick and better still cheaper to run, so we ordered a Civic 2.2 Type S GT.

I like it so much, i've now ordered a 2nd one which is going to replace my company Astra. It comes next Saturday but sadly is only a 1.4 i-vtec.

I quite like the look of the new Accord Type S, the wheels on it make it just look "right"

Any reason why you didnt go for the diesel? I only ask as its a big issue over on the Accord site smile

IMO the 17" Pentas look OK on the older cars (though mine has had a fairly major drop!)

The thicker line around the new cars wheel arch makes it look a little heavy.

The Civic we bought last December is a 2.2 Diesel. The reason I haven't bought a diesel for the one that comes next Saturday is cost. The allowance i'm getting from my employer means I can just about run the 1.4, without having to subsidise the cost from my salary.

I was a bit wary about the 1.4, the magazine reviews were pretty positive and sure enough the test drive 3 up in a car with only 600 miles on the clock was pretty good. I will need to work the gearbox a bit, but when vtec kicks in, it isn't bad.
