Initially I though, feck me they couldn't even be rs'd to put the exhausts on straigh. Now of course I realise it could be the power of the engine twisting them beyond repair smile

I suspect that 'saxperience' is a website for saxo owners where the OPs modifications would be appreciated a little more. 'My sources' appears to be a reference to where the money comes from but written in a veiled manner as if to suggest that it is slightly less than legal (or perhaps a Saturday job at McDonalds?)

No offence but:

1. Why?
2. Fair enough
3. Why?
4. Why?
5. Why?
6. Why?
7. Why?
8. As long as you only use them in the fog
9. Fair enough

Seriously - that seems like a lot of effort and expense for bugger all reward?
The alloys i get, the themometer i get.

A throttle body on a 1.1 makes no sense, as does all the intake and stuff.

the lights, well, its a taste thing. a bad taste thing... but what do i know, my car is the only one in its range that doesnt have fog lights, cant say i miss them wink

You don't want to make the back pressure any less on the Saxo. They really suffer power wise if you don't maintain the pipe thickness.

Saxperience will not appreciate your visual mods onto a 1.0litre. Half of the people are knowledgeable and really will only accept two thoughts on Saxo mods... the VTR/ VTS (or some sort of Track Day ideal) OR really thorough visual mods for Show standards. (I accept that like most Forums there will be the LED lites wicked iniit crew)

IMO- Don't waste money on modifying your Saxo. Swap the hubcaps for the Westcoast for a couple of quid and then enjoy driving it until you can buy something with a bit more oomph.

The example you have looks nice. Good mileage. Nice price.

The chassis is excellent and really good fun and although it will wallow through the corners the actual tyres to tarmac is grippy for its stature.

Remember as well when you head into that roundabout too fast and get scared, lifting off the power and she starts to wobble, get your foot back down to pull out of it and you can't go wrong thumbup

If you really must do something to make it unique I would suggest Jamex 30mm Springs (Don't go lower or you will scrub tyres to fk and the ride will hurt) and the rear torsion bar tweaked. That will be all of £100. And get a gromet for the rear wiper, pop that off and it will look a lot smoother.
