How are these insurance wise?

Just for when I'm older.
Mine cost just under £1000. I'm 20 with 2 yrs ncb, 2 accidents (1 fault), car parked on street, modifications declared, limited mileage of 5000 miles.

I bought a GTI-R in 2000 and ran it until 2003. Great little car and once you eliminate the understeer, it handles superblysmile

£650, fully comp. I'm 23 with 3 years NC. It is on a multicar policy through Admiral although my renewal quote with Elephant was £675, pretty good I thought.

It has the holder but the umbrella is missing, as always. They pop up for sale now and again, I will have one in there eventually, track car or not!

It's nice to see a standard looking Pulsar , they really are great fun,
I haven't driven mine in over a year, I suppose I ought to fix the brakes and use it again.

Well that lasted long, this morning a co-op lorry decided to eat the front of it.

And to top it all off, one of the local plonkers ran over the roof leaving nice muddy and gritty footprints over it.

Is it coincidence that I added a PH sticker yesterday biglaugh

st thats harsh, you cant have anything nice without idiots ruining it. thats why my car stays in the garage most of the time while i drive a crappy diesel estate about.

Not really, after the above accident I cable tied it back together and ran around in it until about 2 months ago then took it off the road so I could start working on it, however, I also lost my job at the same time.

Hoping to make a start on stripping it down in the next couple of weeks but until I find another job I wont be able to do anything on it that requires money!

Small update,

Have been spending a few hours here and there removing bit's and bobs from the front end/engine bay, but today the engine came out, thought it was worth snapping a few pictures.

Getting ready for the lift, everything but det sensor disconnected (pain in the bum to get to!)

Getting there now...

Freedom!

Filthy engine, gearbox and transfer box.

Even filthier engine bay!

Next up, strip the rear end and interior then get it rolled onto it's side rotate

Quick update, Car is now a shell with the exception of the windscreen and should be getting rolled onto its side this Thursday, that should be fun!

Few snaps of the shell and the worst bits that I need to tackle.

Not too bad this side.

Not too good this side!

Small hole in nearside floor where it meets the sill.

Floor rails have seen better days too! (Can you spot the PH smiley?)

Until next time!
