Looks awesome mate! I had an extended drive in Matt's in December and it was great fun getting it sideways on the slippy roads!

A lot cheaper to run and repair than my bloody car as well hehe

Nice biggrin

I picked up a cheap one for some summer fun and have never looked back.

Was warm here tonight, so I have just been out for an hour and a half with the roof off, windows down, just got in and I am buzzin'.

Mine, currently waiting to be dropped, as I can fit ornaments in the arches..

Right, just changed the CAS O ring so hopefully no more drippy drippy
I did mine and the rocker cover gasket a few weekends ago, too.Common thing to go.
I also replaced all the hoses as the one near the back of the block split on me.
I hear that can happen if the oil has been leaking for some time. Also worth checking
for bottom pulley wobble, as it can kill your crank in the end!

Well, I kept the standard wheels in the garage and purchased these Rota JSPL's a few weeks ago..

(notice the rather annoying dented back wing)

Then the Rota RB's came up and you know what it's like, the woman kept on at me saying they would
look better and that having two sets of nice wheels was a really, really good idea tongue out

Mines a Eunos S btw, so pretty much rust free. There are some lovely wide arch cars knocking about.I
think someone on the MX5 forums sells them actually.

Quick update:

Well it would seem my little 5 has had a couple of modifications, the one I'm most pleased with is the relocation of the foglamp which has been moved to the reverse light biggrin

Other than that, my mate Jason and I changed the cam angle sensor O ring the other day, bit of a fiddly job, but the old one was royally bksed so it was for the best.

Now it seems I have another oil leak somewhere so it's going on the ramps tomorrow so we can have a scoot about and see if we can locate the little bugger.

Work on fixing and improving will be on going thumbup

I have had a lot of looks like

I seem to get asians and women trying to race me everywhere which is amusing.

Had a group of asian lads chatting to me at the lights the other week, had the roof down around midnight (lovely night) and they said "You had a good day mate? Aren't you cold" hehe

Got plenty of work I wanna do on it and I'm really happy to do it so should be a few updates smile

Quick update:

We found what looked to be another leak which seemed to progress into relative spewing fairly quickly and on investigation today, it looks like it's an ill fitted oil filter at fault!

We've replaced, drained oil, serviced and changed the plugs so I'll check underneath tomorrow.

Now it seems like I need a new secondary fan for the rad as it's whining like a bd
