you said it yourself. personally i love the car but, wether you're a chav or not, the car itself screams chav with those decals. IMHO.

nice car, but money saved on rally decals could have gone on a larger turbo tongue out

Well Pete you seem like a nice enough chap and I LOVE "scoobies", infact I will have one as my next car. But those decals man really let the car down.

Other than that, good plan for keeping it standard(ish) for reliability and you don't seem "chavvy" too me.

I will be keeping an eye out for this thread, especially if you turn it into a fire breathing estate wink

Be careful going front mount with a 98. Depending on the ecu you have in it, it's likely to need a whoile new standalone ecu put in as the standard one cannot be remapped. The piggy back ecu is in development however.
im pretty sure an Ecutek board fits any classic impreza ecu, making it fully mappable. It was in development ages ago.
Ecutek is only available for 99 - 00. Think some very late 98 cars are compatable too.

Years 92 - 96 are mappable with a piggyback / daughter board. Such as ESL. Or it's a swap out to replacement stand alone such as Apexi Power FC, Simtek etc.

97 - 98 is a swap out to stand alone only at the moment. The ESL is in development though.

Nice car, but why have you stuck race car stickers on your estate car?

I agree, it's entirely about personal choice but that said everyone has the right to an opinion. I don't like the stickers personally as I've said, but I wouldn't go as far to say chav as I don't know the guy.

People love or hate my motor, and I can live with that it's down to personal taste!

Whats with the Tesco shoping list between the rear windows ?
gee thanks for the post..

its part of the look..
would look odd doing the rally decal kit and not having them
Odder to put them on there any not have the branded parts. Doesn't that kind of defeat the object of the stickers?
