a friends made 90bhp @ the clubpolo rolling road day with an 8k chip, decat and cone filter!

steel blue squareback, must've been the 2009 RR day i reckon.
I was there that day if you mean the one in Jan, if your on Clubpolo/Polo3 im also KERRLY.

Mine made 88hp with a HT lead snapped in the dizzy cap and none of the headwork+cam+ 4 branch at the 2008 rr day an then 103hp on the same rollers with the 4branch an cam.

After i sold it a new owner had it RR and it made 109hp with the set up i detailed before.

What makes the PPP subframe better than the PPS one? My PPS one with uprated rear box mount should be turning up in the next couple of weeks.

I've been cleaning up the Vectra calipers and carriers, got some Black Diamond Predator pads to go on. Just need to get some hoses now. Got hold of some GT arch trims as well because I think the car looks too naked without them on.

I tried to order a chip but Poloace didn't get back to me. I've noticed that PPP do them as well.

The plan was to get a G40 with a tatty shell and do the swap. If I can find a G40 with a good, straight shell then I'll just move everything across from this to the G. Not sure if I want to go Eaton yet, I've been reading up on the K03 setup.

Cheers, I'll sign up now. I'm only on ClubPolo and Polo3 at the moment.

Busy weekend ahead I think smile

PPS Stage 3 subframe with uprated rear gearbox mount, and a 256mm brake upgrade using Vectra 16v carriers/calipers along with Mk2 Golf GTi discs. Should give me enough time to bed them in before a track day at Oulton Park at the beginning of February!

Lysholm G60 would be much more fitting. Too many 20VT conversions kicking around these days.

mmm wouldn't mind a BAM in there!

I think it'll be a G40 engine to begin with and then eventually go down the K03 turbo route with it. I want to get the chassis/brakes sorted before I add any real power though.
