Thanks for all the positive comments, car is running really sweet and hopefully getting dyno'd on saturday.

Someone buy russy's car... Its an absolute steal u cant even get a 06 ctr for that money which imo is half the car

You were parked opposite Morrisons when I saw you the other day, but just passed you on Eden bridge earlier!

I'm in a 53 Seat Ibiza, so won't stand out at all!

Just had the mazda dyno'd and it made 337/409 so quite happy with that considering still need the boost raised and tweaked!

That must be insanely fast.

Ours sold in the end, a copper came and fell in love with it!!

What performance figures you getting with it? 0-100mph must be like 11 secs or something daft.

How you finding that power through the front wheels, its bit of a handful standard.

Would love to know of any fun and games had on a good road with other hot hatches to find out how it fared. Any mates got any 'quick' cars so you can enlighten us on your cars abilities?

Lovely, lovely car. Wheels look fantastic too. Definately on my cars to own list, 337 bhp is mental!

Thanks guys

Good to hear u sold it.. Hope u didnt have to drop price too much.
60-100 will be about 5-6s i recon so ueah about 11 0-100

Got freinds with other hot hatches but just clio sports and ctr's so cant really compare. Will corner at same speed as the clio sports but the change in direction is more fluid in the clio's due to the weight.
Plan to get it on track later in year when i have tidied up bits and pieces (as well as raise boost and get large IC)

Had to drop price to sell, very little interest. Really not easy cars to sell! Buyer had a bargain at just over 6k!

Like others have said it looks good on the rx wheels.

Tidy motor mate, enjoy it and hang on to it! With mods it will be even harder to sell!!

How does your mates CTR compare to your mean machine? They both now fall into the same price bracket and the same loose description as a 'hot hatch'. They are both cars id consider looking at in the summer. Be interesting to hear your views on the comparison as there are loads to CTR owners shouting how good they are. You rarely hear from an MPS owner.

I'm liking these more and more each time I look at them.

Some dull questions:

What are they like for space, cabin and boot space?
What's the fuel consumption like?
Any major issues, or common faults?

When I have sold my car and cleared my other debts I think I might be Mazda shopping!

Oj if u tell me ur email i can email u a little comparison of a beep test we did.....
If u listen cafefully u can here his reaction lol

I still cant understand how anyone would choose a ctr over a 3 mps ! The mps is twice the car imo

Very practical car plenty of room for 5 adults and decent boot to match.
Very reliable only issue to be weary of is turbo seals and vvti pulley.
Fuel economy is good too i am on a average of 27mpg over about 1700 miles including a 1/4 mile day and many runs out over lakes, hartside, yorkshire ...
If u can go gently u will get 35-40 mpg on a run at 60-80mph

A recent member averaged 40mpg on his journey back from buying one.

I just wish sometimes they looked a little more grrrr. I like the newer design with the bonnet scoop. Adds some presence. They are almost to q car to be a q car.
