Surely these can't be much less? I was looking at them a couple of years ago and there wasn't one selling for less than £10,000 - considerably more for a fresh import!
These do come up for ~£8k-£9k sometimes in decent condition. I have seen some a bit less than that, but they looked a bit ropey. I'd imagine the fresh off the boat price is still going to be £10k plus.

My Revision 5 MR2:

Originally I was going to change a few bits, but I am considering keeping it standard now. The fact that it's 100% standard (other than stereo) actually makes it quite unique!
Those photos are fantastic, particularly the sky parts! Love the car too.

Same registration number?
Yep, in CH the registration identifies the person, not the car.
I have to switch the plates each time I change car, but I only have to pay road tax and insurance once.

The best I've had is 24mpg. The other half uses it every day for her 75 mile commute and on average it returns about 21mpg.

I got 28mpg on the route to Le Mans whilst driving a mates for a couple of hours last year smile hardly the point of the car, but can still do decent MPG.
