The last two MOTs in the Clio have been fairly expensive. In 2022 the rear calliper was binding which meant new rear discs, pads and a drivers side calliper (this was shortly after breaking a coil spring, so I'd only just replaced the suspension with B14s). In 2023 the "new" calliper had failed, the garage refused warranty, and then I broke the hard line getting the old one off. Which was a pain.

Thankfully, this year I've had a nice easy pass:

Time to go track day shopping!

With the Legacy now off to a new home the clio needs to do some daily work.
Which didn't start well.
I stopped for fuel, and it refused to start. Turned over fine, immobilizer seemed ok. Sitting on the fuel station forecourt with a crowd of curious on lookers i opened the bonnet and the issue was obvious. The fuel hose clip had cine undone. Plugged it back in and the car started perfectly. Gave it a gentle nudge and it sprayed fuel all over the engine (and me).

So new connector from Ktech ordered, but a bodge for now.

Hopefully my next post won't be from the side of the A14 waiting for a fire crew.
