A car a month for 2020. Idiocy but you love it.

If the idea to make a profit on each car and finish with the car of your dreams, Mike Brewer has beaten you to it .
Thought his idea was to try and remain the correct side of sane, can't remember profit being an ideahttps://www.discoveryuk.com/series/wheeler-dealers...
(Nice bloke IRL, just does some poor shows)
On this dream cars one though, first episode mike buys a rot box of a horse box to turn into a coffee bar. Then he magically sells it to an ‘unseen travelling events company’ for top dollar. Even I call bullst.

Ha - yes, he is truly the master. I can’t compete with that and won’t even try! Enjoying it so far OP. I'm preparing to take my own foray into YT as I build my Impreza for the coming hillclimb season. I'm a bit worried I won't be very engaging to be honest, but I can only do what I can do!

Good luck with the steering angle sensor!

Thanks! And go for it - there’s only one way to find out how engaging you’ll be!What are you using to edit your videos?

Using iMovie at the moment but I’m going to move to Final Cut Pro soon I think.
What a great idea. I need a car for about a year and if i had the time/energy/guts I wouldn't mind doing something like this, maybe not every month though! It's now making me question my entire strategy for finding a car- knowing my luck I would go into it looking for something like the SLK posted earlier in the thread and end up with an absolute dog!
Good luck OP! (although good luck may not give you the most entertaining you tube content)

All I’ll say is any car featured here will be for sale at some point in a given month and you know where to find me Good luck OP! (although good luck may not give you the most entertaining you tube content)
... granted the way things are going they’re not the most interesting cars either - next month’s is even worse
Was reading an article on Autocar this morning and thought of you (and that other nutter who got through 26 sheds in 6 months), immediately below the Z3 stuff, Jag, no MOT or starter motor

- I try not to buy anything *too* broken, but I do occasionally make the odd mistake like that https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/used-cars/james...
The mot-less mk1 Clio you get a glimpse of in my most recent video is a prime example
Great thread, I love cheap but reliable bangers! Something so smug about shedding!
My 09 Passat cr 140 refuses to die, bought it cheap and had for 3 years and now on 187k, the DMF rattle has stayed the same through my ownership, it passes each MOT with ease and although the thought of a different car regularly occupies my mind, it’s too good and worthless to sell.
How did you get in with the steering angle sensor?

Love it! £174 for a (mostly) working Ford Focus that doesn't look absolutely borked. You can't really go wrong!
Quick rub down of the wheels and some silver spray paint and it'll make a huge difference.
I'm in!
I’ll be leaving the comprehensive* wheel refurb to the next owner - if I had longer and was trying to extract as much profit as possible then it would be essential but as it is, I’ll not be worrying too much. Quick rub down of the wheels and some silver spray paint and it'll make a huge difference.

Agree though with a DIY or otherwise refurb and a better clean/polish of the body it would be a really very presentable, still modern daily driver that should go on for long enough.
Glad I’ll hopefully be giving it a stay of execution at least.
