Missed the wheel update - they look great! I’m not a fan of black wheels on a black car so these darker-than-silver-but-not-black look great to my eyes.

These style of wheels really do suit the shape and ride height of the car. I’d struggle to think of a better match.

Raceline RL7 in anthracite, can’t go wrong

Pretty eventful few weeks. Managed to destroy my 5th gear, but luckily that’s all. Adding to a bit more luck, Ali and Scott at MJ Racing had some spare 5th gears to get my box back together ready for the fast Ford magazine shoot.

Oops. Is it odd to break 5th? I guess it is above 1:1 output on the engine so dumps a fair amount of torque.

Aye, crap smallest gear that takes the most heat really on long haul drives. But luckily it’s in the tail end, so all the shards stayed there, not even into the oil that dropped. Lucky lol

Do you have any confirmed plans to attend/ enter any events in the NW this year, would love to see the car in the flesh.

Mostly just a couple of ring trips, may do Anglesey and oulton park a few times too. Of course there will be Ford fair at silverstone too.

Some TLC ready for summer, getting rid of those defects. And especially proud of the Ford Fair month of Fast Ford in August. Can’t wait to see it in full!
