Boot floor is c1cm higher. There is still a small under floor storage areafor the load cover and a cable

We... I mean the dog ... doesn't notice the difference

Can confirm boot is massive, only real difference is no 7 seat option on the 45e.

Thanks all. Just need to go and find one.

Any dealers better at deals than others?

In stock.

Interestingly enough, the flap for power was tricky to open, so I've asked them to sort that before purchase. I didn't want to wait till next year and have less spec.

On a 3pin plug , how long is charging? About 10hrs from empty to full?
What about 20% to 100%?

It’s 24kWh, so at 3kW (230V x 13A) it’s 8hrs.

20-100% is 6.5hrs.

Worth remembering that the charging rate is something you can vary, it's accessed via the charging menu.

A lot of them default to 6A, so if charging sems to be taking forever - check this.

Thank you.
Majority of the car will be town driving so I assume full electric. If I'm doing say 60miles, what mode should I use?

My charging port is very temperemantal!!!

Didn't work at the dealers when I picked it up and I was livid. I got home and it was absolutely fine?!?!

The door doesn't always open easily. Feels like I have to pry it open!!!

I had the same issues after BMW had messed with it, I'd politely but firmly insist they sort that out ASAP.

They all do that... Mine needs a fist bump to open
Not exactly great is it

Other than that it's fantastic with 75% of miles on electric
Day to day just drive around in electric

And on a long journey stick it in hybrid (find it better than adaptive)
It's also surprisingly rapid with the engine on, which which doesn't help with efficiency

The same power train with more range and a nicer interior will be a winner in the new range rover

These Cotswold hills kill my battery on the way home from work. Funnily enough on the way down it recharges the battery.
Thank you all. Live it so far

What charging rate are you set at? Think I used to run mine at 10 or 12A.

We'd like to purchase one of these via our business. However, after an initial friendly chat and the exchange of a few emails, the BMW Cobham sales chap has gone quiet. It was after I presented him with a finance quotation from Lombard that he asked me to send to him in order to try and match.

Are all sales depts reliant on selling finance to gain reasonable commission? Are all BMW sales depts so complacent? It's our first time buying a new car, so aren't so up to speed on the motivators for the dealer and the dos and donts of engagement. Any guidance would be appreciated, as we'd like to get an order in now so that it's built by July.

I don't think it's just BWM, I've had similar experiences with a number of brands in the last couple of years.

If it were me I would try talking to another BMW dealer; find one that will look after you. (It shouldn't be this hard, but after trying to secure an LC I've come to the conclusion that it's worth finding a decent sales guy over just using the nearest one)
