Yup

That's it done now really; back up the drive and I'll plug it into trickle charge tomorrow; won't be using it now until next Thursday

These painkillers I'm having to take again are knocking me sideways; thankfully I work from home, so the car can just sit getting dirty on the drive in this terrible weather as I try not to drive unless I really have to rolleyes

Long story but had been suffering with an issue (probably brought on by all the heavy weightlifting and stone lifting I've done for decades) which kicked of mid 2021.

Had an operation in May to fix it and it worked up until 6 weeks ago and now it's back with vengeance and it now looks like the only way to sort it (as long as the CT & MRI scans I've had today don't show anything untoward) is to have a final operation and have the damn thing whipped off for good...

Tis what it is... The nerve pain is what's worse (lower back and right down my left leg) as can't get away from it...

Sooner I can get this sorted the better

More painful are the bills rolleyes as unfortunately trying to get this sorted via the NHS is nigh on impossible (through no fault of their own)...

Whatever you do, don't get old Ross laugh

Haha cheer pal - I'm only 45 but these last few years have aged me rolleyes It's a pisser as well as I'd just got back into training (albeit lighter) but it was really good and things were going well, and then this bloody thing has come and taken my feet out from under me again mad

Tis what it is; it'll get sorted. i've just no patience!

Anyways...

F31 back on trickle; it'll sit there all week now unless I need to use it

Forgot one thing! Braided brake lines... rolleyes

Just ordered some plain black HEL ones so they should be with me just after the New Year biggrin

Got my op booked in for 03rd Jan as well (had to go private again as NHS are literally 12-18 months behind); so with 3-4 weeks recovery and no driving for 2 weeks at least, my pals will collect the BMW on 08th and keep it until they've done all the work

Cheers squire... It'll look mint once fitted. It feels great in the hand.

I may brave it myself between Christmas and New Year and remove the original one and fit the re timed one. One less fiddly job for my pals to do etc biggrin

Thank you Ross. Not looking forward to it buts it's a needs / must now as there's no alternative and no 'it'll sort itself with time' etc...

In and out in the day so shouldn't be too bad... Miffed that I'll miss helping work on the car and then driving it, and not being able to train too. But small sacrifices etc...

Paying for the op will be painful enough I reckon haha biggrin
