Hope it is going well! I'm constantly on the lookout for a well looked after, high mileage 911 996 with heated seats (the only option I cannot live without!) This project is giving me hope of being able to run it on the cheap. Currently have a Boxster - which is also preventing me from buying the 911, it will have to go before a 911 can come.

Hey guys, things are indeed going well. Spookily enough, I recorded a video this morning and will have it available in a day or so.

I’ve had a quick look and the mega bargains don’t seem to be out there at the moment (certainly at first glance)

Excellent - look forward to watching it!

p.s. if you decide to sell the car in the year - let me know, I'd certainly be interested in it! Alternatively, if you do find any bargains that is too good to turn away, I'd think hard about getting rid of the boxster and getting one! (yes I am the same person who was talking about the boxster on your youtube channel!)

Hello!! smile. Good to hear from you!

A few people have asked me to keep them informed when/if I come to sell it. I’m hoping it will still be going strong then so will let you know.

My wife has just suggested selling one of our more “practical” cars as one of them just sits on the driveway but I’m still scared every time I fire up the Porsche! :|

That will never pass. I've been using mine full time as daily driver for about 3 months now or more. I still feel like something is going to break every time I drive it. But nothing ever does - well sort of. Cars always break.

The story focussed on 2 cars. Mine about how I’d bought and how cheap it was while the other car was on sale on eBay for about 9 grand at the time (sold now)

If the point is really to run it as cheaply as possible, why are you buying replacement items like number plates and exhaust tips when it already has originals still doing their jobs? Or are they needed to get through an MOT or whatever?
