That fiat he adores so much is an 695 Biposto Rosso Officine , bathed in carbon, titanium, with brembo and akrapovic goodness.. 1 of 99.. not just an everyday 500 abarth.I think even that was more than £70k
Yep nice little cars ... I have one (number 9 of 99) ... not quite £70Ks worth though Edited by RATATTAK on Thursday 26th September 23:35

If it is good enough for the most renown dictators, surely it is good enough for your family?

Love it because I’m Scottish, however I’m not the last King of Scotland. If it is good enough for the most renown dictators, surely it is good enough for your family?
That thing is huge and definitely won’t get down the lanes haha.
I’ve ALWAYS liked the Yeti so think I’m going to go down the Yeti R route.

You’ve mentioned your Yeti love before Pete, will you get it past your good wife though?!That thing is huge and definitely won’t get down the lanes haha.

I just watched the new Ed Sheeran video with that over rated twinkle Blowy. The Rolls Royce SUV is thrashed around a field in it and actually does a great job of not looking like a black cab. I think one of those suitability specked would be an appropriate chariot for a lady such as yours.

Would love to have your opinion on the CGT if you still have it?
I'm sure like many on here, it's one of a select few that would be on the lottery win list. It'd be one of the first on mine (along with 959, F40 and RS200).
What's it like to drive, is it really as difficult as it was made out to be (brutal clutch)? I read that new tyres make a heap of difference on them. How do you compare it to your LFA which you mentioned is scary in the wet.
What would you change about the CGT if you could?
It'd be one video review I'd be highly interested in.
Cheers

I’m not sure if I’m correct here but I think I am (I’m not searching all the pages). IIRC Pete said he thinks the CGT is in effect - ‘meh’Would love to have your opinion on the CGT if you still have it?

It’s like a 986 Boxster to drive, very rattly and crappy switchgear. Not very quick and not very nimble.
No the clutch isn’t that hard to live with it’s just weird. I think I’ve stalled it once or twice and that’s it, and I’ve got the racing clutch which is even harder to use.
Basically where you need to ‘Ying and Yang’ a normal clutch and match it on the depress. With the CGT you have to let the clutch out really slowly and not touch the accelerator even a bit. If you do that then there’s a high probability you’ll stall. You let the clutch out completely (very slowly though) and once you get rolling you can give it some gas. This makes it very st when in traffic or on the slightest of any incline. In this occasion you have to give it the revs and then all you can smell is the burning of the clutch and the money in your wallet.
The LFA is better in literally EVERY SINGLE WAY.
What would I change about the CGT?
Probably buying it haha.

To be fair at least it doesnt have that 'kicked in the knackers' look of the Bentayga.
I’ve got the Bentayga and as long as you get the right spec then it can be a good looking car. The car actually gets a lot of positive attention which is nice. It drives amazing compared to a Vogue or Sport. Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
