Thanks for that compliment mate but there is some stunning looking 1M 's now getting about, even my mate Jez, I appreciate his VO for the stock look he has ran with being a small build number on the UK, plus performance seats with the orange stitching really set the look, shame though his is a garage queen and anything we plan to do is all in the hands of the metoffice
That wouldn't be Jez who used to have a Focus RS500, would it? I think I recognised the plate from the photos from Porsche Sunday Service. Garage queen certainly sounds like him! Say hi to him for me, he'll remember the name from FRS days, if it is indeed the guy in question.Dave Hedgehog said:

No tint at all, not even factory option, its just the dark background and interior, and in the side shots is my neighbours black 4x4 parked up... next to it
superbyou get a 11/10 then
stunning looking, stunning to drive, one of the all time epic BMW's
its destined for fame in the annals of BMW history that one
and thats coming from the worlds biggest VAG 4*4 fan

Looks great, fantastic little car.
I think about having one of these all the time, but I always end up playing the game of what else I could buy with £40k and getting more excited about other exotica that can be purchased in the budget range.
We did think along these lines with the wife wanting a vantage but she ended up ordering the 1M instead.....I think about having one of these all the time, but I always end up playing the game of what else I could buy with £40k and getting more excited about other exotica that can be purchased in the budget range.

I'm a vag fan too, but not the kind with wheels. That's my favourite BM and it'd pretty stunning but I think the one looks the best in burnt orange no?
Personal choice is the colour, I was up for VO but my wife wanted AW and placed the order, I was also keen on the black, hell I would have it in any of the 3 colour personally! Thejimreaper said:
Saw this on Sunday, stunning.
Thanks, pics don't totally do the width of the fenders any justice.....LumicoPhoto said:
Loving the rear shot. She's got some muscular lines. Loved the reviews of these cars I bet it's a great drive.
I do very much getting behind the wheel and pressing the start button A blast around Wales is this weekends plan, taking in the evo triangle while we are at it.......Wow, I have been following this thread from when you 1st for your 1M and love what you have done to the car fella! Also I love the photo's from Wales, looked like great great fun.
But am I the only one thinking that the M3 that also joined in on the Wales trip looks nicer on the smaller but perfectly formed alloys?

Thanks for the comments guys, this is really what this car is all about, it ain't no garage queen lol thank god I opted for the PE front lower splitter as the underside sure took a hammering, a carbon jobbie would have been shattered into bits and more bits lol spent most of the weekend in MDM mode and messed about with some suspension settings that appeared to work nicely and all at the touch of the ipod
As for the M3 running 18's and wrapped in mich supersports, it sure handled bloody well and the big old V8 came in handy to clear sheepies from the road ahead
And for the record no poor sheep was hurt during this trip, well not at our hands or motors anyways lol
