Apologies for the radio silence. She's been back on the road after some quiet time. The cold weather suits it.

Haven't posted before but this is truly awesome, mostly as it gets used rather than stuck in a garage and not seen. Thank you for that

Also, stick that last picture in this thread, it belongs there

Great to see it being used, rather than tucked up in a garage.

That's more like.

Richard from Perfection Valeting tweeted about cleaning an F40 the other day, it had done 12.5k in circa 26 years, I'll bet the poor thing has been washed more times than it has been driven.

That blue one above is just incredible! The XJ was one of my favourite cars... before I was into cars, if you know what I mean. I remember playing with a little model one as a kid smile

Always thought they deserved slightly better (or more modern perhaps) colours, and the above definitely shows that imo!

I had one of these!

I also remember using the XJ220 on my playstation game Test Drive 4.

What a beautiful car you have

Possibly the best photo in the whole thread.

"Used supercars" - The kind of words that should be bleeped out.

Full of awesome.

Love the frosty and dirty shots of it.

That needs to go in the dirty supercar thread.

Awesome motor, love the colour and the looks as well as all the modifications to make it a sharper tool. I love that you are not scared to do that, and not overly concerned with keeping it "original". Drive it and enjoy driving it!

I owned a racing green XJ220 a good few years back, it was a Le Mans spec one.

Here is a photo of it:
I was at Le Mans as part of the team in 93.

This was my bedroom wall car when i was growing up, one day! Congrats Phil & good man for keeping it on the road and driving it rather than just keeping it locked away only to come out on sunny days.

Would be great to see it at one of the Sunday Service events.

I've loved them since playing XJ220 on the Amiga.
