Drove the car into work this morning and discovered that the wipers don't wipe. My extensive engineering experience(!), coupled with the fact it recently passed the MOT, would indicate that it's most likely to be a fuse (doesn't it?)
Where would I look for the fuse box and how would I know which fuse it was?
This may help with the fuses, but it seems the fuses and location may vary year by year!Where would I look for the fuse box and how would I know which fuse it was?

That's very helpful, thanks. You've also alerted me to another single-model nerd site I shall now have to join. http://www.fiatspider.com/f15/viewtopic.php?t=3081...

I look forward to a spin in it before Autumn sets in... oh, wait...
In any case, I look forward to seeing it!
I congratulate you on your perseverence, m'sieur. When I tried to import a brand new, already heavily modified car, in 2008, I gave up with SNCT's so-called "Homologation Dept.".
Absolutely clueless bunch of wkers, they were - sending me off to TUV Trier instead.
"But YOU'RE the Homologation Department for Luxembourg. Why are you sending me to Germany?!"
I ended up putting the car back to standard and selling the modified kit off at a huge loss.

You might equally find, if you strike out on the electrics, if it’s anything like my Alfa 105/115 Spider, that the wiper motors have seized because the grease inside them has solidified, especially if the car’s not been used in a while. Where would I look for the fuse box and how would I know which fuse it was?
If it’s any consolation, I only discovered this in the middle of an electrical storm in the Massif Central...
I haven't managed to look at fuses yet, but I have bought some to at least be able to swap them over. I also bought some car shampoo and some cockpit cleaner, so I'll be ready to go once the weather improves.
More interestingly, I've found treasure. This locket was under the seat.
I've mailed Twig to see if it was his pal's that restored it, but due to the passage of time I suspect it's more likely to belong to the couple I bought it from, and they have since emigrated to NZ. I'd like to be able to return it.
In a separate issue, I received my road tax bill for it today; 25 EUR seems decent value to me.

Thanks CDG.It's not Adrian's, so the last owner looks like the best option.

Coincidentally, the insurance bill arrived over the weekend. 326 euros for a max of 7,000 km pa isn't too bad by Lux standards, although it is more than double what I paid in UK for similar cover when I bought it.
I got a mail today from my insurance chap to notify that, having finally provided a proof of UK NCB that they will accept, the insurance fee has dropped to €237. It's not often that Lux bureaucracy throws money at you, but my rebate is in the post. Result. A couple of things to update.
Firstly, knob news. I went for the pretty F and was notified that delivery failed yesterday so I need to go to the post office in the next 15 days to collect an expensive knob.
This is what I'm expecting:
The wheel centres proved to be a challenge, and I couldn't find the traditional Fiat ones in the right size. In the end I went for these, a variation on what's on the car already.

Today was sunny and warm, so the chance to give the car some action.
There are some lovely roads out here, with brilliant surfaces and nicely-sighted.
Stopped to do a walk and parked about as cross-country as it'll go.
The old knob can be seen here; I confess that I've done no research about how they're affixed. If it it isn't a simple screw-top replacement then I'm, well, screwed.
