The mk4 is a well engineered car - good start for any project.
Just avoid plastering it in stupid VDub stickers and driving like a to&&er - for some reason the mk4 is attracting the wrong type of car enthusiasts (the sort who like smoked rear lights and awful number plate surrounds).

If you’re setting the needles manually a good tip is to brim your fuel tank beforehand, when you start it up for the first time you can then tell right away if it’s set correctly.
Not sure if you know but with the Anniversary / Bora dials the outer casing has a built in bezel which matches the aluminium on the foils gives a cool 3D effect
Cars coming along, engine bay looks great
