hehe Look forward to hearing about how you get on with the 335i you're seeing. Surely Xenons can be retrofitted?
I would have thought so. I know it can be done in the 1 series providing you change the FRM. The parts for the 1 series are getting bloody expensive now as more and more people retrofit them.

That was the compromise when I bought mine, ideally I wanted xenon’s and a panoramic roof. I have seen a few 335i’s that popped up for sale with no idrive/pro nav, I’m guessing they might have been company cars with no options added at all.

Were they standard fit on the coupes? They all see, to have them but they’re super rare on the E90 and E91.

I believe they were standard on all coupes, they weren’t an expensive option, but I guess people preferred to spend the money elsewhere when ordering. I personally think they should have been standard on 6 cylinder models and then optional on other models.

I’d agree with xenon’s being standard on 6 pots.

Whilst the xenon’s on my car are not brilliant they’re better than the halogens on my other half’s 125i.

BMW spec on their cars of that era were truly weird!

All E9* 3Series had split/fold rear seats, other than the E90. confused

Thankfully my 330i has them, Bi-Xenons, electric glass sun-roof and power-fold mirrors - but no Nav or heated seats.

I think cruise was an option on 1st-Generation 1 Series - just mad!

I don’t think it got any better with later cars either. Cruise wasn’t standard on the F series 1 either; you had to select the comfort pack to get it.

The split/fold sears was certainly an odd one.

As much as it pains me to link to AT and not PH, this looks exceptional https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202203304...

I've put my name down on the waiting list if it doesn't go on the weekend hehe Am I right in thinking the LCI 325i engine is essentially a detuned 330i and will map to 330i power?

That is lovely and unfortunately I cannot see that not being sold when whomever comes to look at it, that's paid the deposit!

It needs discs all round, maybe pads too. It also has a 335 style exhaust fitted.

And...? Most cars will need something to get them up to 'spec'...

Exactly. If I buy something new, I’m leaving enough for new springs, dampers, M3 LCA’s etc.

It, er didn’t.

When the seller went to take it to be cleaned it wasn’t running quite right to he aborted and took it to a garage, where it ran fine with no codes. I’m waiting for an update from him as to whether it’s been fixed / when it can be seen. Maybe that’s a sign of life with an N54. hehe

My point is for the money asked I’d expect it be all together. Maybe I’m behind the times with used E91 values.

A bit but also no car is ever like that

As pristine as my E39 touring was; there were bits to it that I never got around to doing that the new owner has done etc...
