Car shopping didn't take long... Deposit placed on this. Velocity Blue 2019 GT Manual, with Custom Pack 2 and the Spoiler.

It's being loaded onto a boat in the US as we speak, and should be here around the end of the month.

New car arrived at the dealers late yesterday afternoon, will be collecting Saturday.

Yep, exactly that spot - Sainburys Watchmoor Park.

Evans Halshaw Bedford... Not local to me at all, but they had one coming through available, and quickly.

My old man went from 17MY Grabber Blue (6sp Auto) to 18MY Lightning Blue (10sp Auto), be interesting to see what you think of the differences (I personally think the 18-19MY is much improved, the changes are more than skin deep).

Mine are both manual, so the gearbox remains the same. Will be interesting to see the difference taking that out of the equation...

Weather is looking good, so fingers crossed.

Paperwork is all done now, got the reg number, insurance done, remainder of deposit transferred. Insurance hire car gets collected Friday.

I'm going to be an absolute nightmare for the next two days waiting for collection.

Cheers, yes I like the spoiler - the dealer missed that off the spec originally, so its a freebie too!

My last one came from Think Ford Guildford, Farnborough don't do them - their site really isn't big enough!

No, was unrecorded as I settled with the 3rd party insurer, so it became their property and wasn't written off.

Showing as taxed, so it might have already sold to some poor unsuspecting new owner.

Funny how these things turn up Ollie! The '18 is lovely, no issues, but hasn't had a great deal of use, only just ticked over 3000 miles... I've booked to take it down to Portugal for Christmas and New Year.

The new 'Stang hasn't had a great deal of use due to spending a lot of time this summer getting my classic Mini ready for a road trip to Italy... Taking the same Mini for the third year in a row, it's needed a bit of TLC.

The new Mustang will get its trip to Portugal though this winter, so will finally get a chance to properly stretch its legs.
