So far £410 including the original purchase price. Its done 9.5k so far. Its in dyer need of a windscreen now though. that's £80 I don't want to spend.

Just got the MOT ultimatum. I have never had.
She needs two tyres, a ball joint and track rod end, exhaust (inc cat), two rear wheel bearings, welding on the crossmember that holds the radiator in, new front number plate and two bulbs.
2 tyres: head to the local scrap yard and get some second hand ones. She needs two tyres, a ball joint and track rod end, exhaust (inc cat), two rear wheel bearings, welding on the crossmember that holds the radiator in, new front number plate and two bulbs.
Ball joint and track rod end: no biggie, do them yourself
exhaust: this one is harder, you could source a cat from a breaker and get a cheap pipe made or patch your old one
Welding: can you weld? know anyone who can?
Number plate and bulbs: cheap as chips, you can make the plate yourself from a kit or get the local auto shop to make you one.
Bulbs: cost pennies
