Not much progress lately with the whole Christmas bks acting and generally being a lazy lump absolutely devouring everything in sight. So I eventually got my cam cover painted with new gasket plug hold gaskets. Put in the Ross sport lifters, new camshaft seals, lubed and torqued the cam caps, new set of plugs and plug cover lobbed on for the look. Oh also got a few stainless Allen bolts and fitted the new washer/seal thing that took over six weeks to come from Japan. Anyways it's coming together slowly but surely

been a while since I've done anything with the car while I took turbo off and sent it for reconditioning I decided to remove the intercooler and pipes to clean them out as I wasn't happy with the oil lying in them. while I was in that far I went about cleaning and painting the front panel and anything that looked a bit tatty. I also removed the air con fan which was redundant and made up a couple of brackets to fit some slimline rad fans I had thrown around the shed. I have also ordered a new two post lift so the last few months have been cutting out floors and rafters bracing the roof of the shed hence the slow progress on the car

got the turbo fitted and traced a break in the power cable from the alternator to the battery. I ran a new cable and all my idle issues disappeared. I removed a ralliart badge which was in place of the original evo badge to discover two big holes behind it. one hole sealed and covered with the original badge and I stuck a clip in the other with a snot of sealer until Ifind something a bit more .appealing. also my lift arrived so hoping to get it fitted over the next few days. the car itself is running very well

Not much progress as such. I spent a fair chunk of time chasing an electrical problem causing me to loose all electrics randomly which turned out to become stripped power cable from the battery to the alternator which was earthing out at times.its almost running 100% but I'm still trying to sort out idle issues.
Got the lift installed and between work and trying to get a mates subaru ready for a trip to the ring in August I haven't had much time to play with the evo. The subaru on the other hand has received 6 pot ap front calipers and brembo rear, we poly bushed it front to back including anti lift kit, fitted new bc coilover and rear camber bolts along with diff centring bolts. Really should of started a thread for it. Here's a few pics of it all back together
