It’s go time! In classic Tesla fashion the boot refused to open first time. Seemed fine afterwards but gotta love that build quality.

I could smell your hotel as soon as you made that comment!

Have a fantastic day. Lots of pics please. Life is short and often hard so a day like today is to be savoured and celebrated. Enjoy!

Make the decision whilst you still can, one day in the not too distant future, making this choice will not be an option either way.

You are definitely doing the right thing wink

Apparently the previous owner had a disability that meant they didn’t pay the high rate of tax. For some reason we can’t tax it online and need to go to a post office. Luckily there’s one 3 mins away.

Heh, those damn disabled folk biggrin

Not paying the £500 or so to tax my C63 was always very satisfying.

You have a fantastic car in the best colour! I’m looking forward to seeing how you get on with it in this thread smile

Pics incoming?!
The lane assist just beeps at you iirc, but it will do a twitch to try and keep you in lane, it’s not full autonomous control. A ‘less-Tesla’ radar cruise that doesn’t occasionally crap itself when it’s near a truck is all you need. I’ve tried the cruise and it seemed very stable.
Noise is excellent. Most excellent.

Morning team!

Today is the day, I really hope I’m making the right decision here, the rational side of my brain is fighting the idea of selling a BEV to get a petrol car. “Think of the fuel, tax and servicing savings” it says.

Helpful brain.
So, did you manage to get off the forecourt before realising that you've absolutely made the right decision?

Glorious things the LC500, bravo.

Quite. (This has got me looking at the Lexus website. But £90k with a GFV of £34k after 4 years. I’m going to enjoy via this thread smile

Awesome. Love these.

Came close to buying one but I could never stretch the budget quite that far. Man maths failure....still very much would like to own one. The fact that the servicing costs are reasonable *and* it includes 12 month warranty extension each time you use them is incredible, warranty alone was about £1200/year last time I looked!

Back home. Good drive, found some tunnels, sounded very good smile

Car needs some detailing as there’s swirl marks for days and a small paint chip (touch up paint on order already). Does anyone know a good detailer in the Essex area? Will want a ceramic coat also.
