Those 20mm spacers your getting with the brake mods....PLEASE have a set of longer wheel studs fitted with them!!! Its dodgy as all hell if you dont...your going to end up with your wheel nuts only engaging on half a dozen threads.
Allready in with the spacers mate I need to get some locking nuts ordered but they around £60 for 4..shocking price, if anyone knows for cheaper please let me know.AlexE46 said:

Hi Gareth. Ok so I'm a bald fat middle-aged BMW dude and it's not really going to be my cup of tea but I actually like it a lot and respect all the effort you've clearly put into it.
Why do one lot of 'enthusiasts' feel the need to have a cheap shot at another lot just because tastes differ a bit ...

Thanks mate, i really appreciate what you have said I knew posting on here would not get the same reaction from a cruiser site, but we all have one thing in General and that is moddifying cars, one way or another, wether it be engine modification or cosmetic, small or a major project..Why do one lot of 'enthusiasts' feel the need to have a cheap shot at another lot just because tastes differ a bit ...

I would agree as we petrol heads should stick together in our time of need against the rising cost of motoring no matter what our tastes or whether we like each others cars or not we still share one thing in common and that is our love for cars. I know that without my Porsche (possibly soon to be Porsches) whenever it goes into the garage for various little bits I truly miss it as I can't just go for a drive in it. If we are driven out of cars then for me life would not be worth living (a little bit drastic I know but very true)
It was a bit, I'm missing my car as it is in the garage at the moment only for a check over but I won't be able to pick it up until Thursday, which got me thinking that if we truly were driven completely out of our cars I really would not be able to cope I reckon. I know it's unlikely they will drive us out completely as they make a nice wedge of cash from us but all those greenies will make it more difficult for us anyways.

^^ are these xenon conversion kits not illegal for road use unless you fit automatic headlamp levelling and washing and are they e-approved? It's just that I think I read somewhere that they were for off road use only.
Yes these are illegal, as i do not have auto-levelling headlights as mine are aftermarket. They are however e-approved Baffled Spoon said:

Be careful with that, you have posted a pic of your reg and the location in which you live! The car is not exactly subtle either...
He will only use the lights for off road use at car shows right c2dude? c2dude said:

He will only use the lights for off road use at car shows right c2dude? In all seriousness though, ive had mine for a while now and as long as you use them with projector style lenses (do you have them in your aftermarket lights?) then the scatter is almost none existant.
What i hate seeing is corsa B's etc. with them, so bright and dazzling and obvious they are aftermarket as cars like that dont have xenons.
I use my porche carrera GT3R to pull the trailer, thats if my missis has got the Bugatti.lol.
And yes my headlights have got projector lenses, so wont be annoying like the corsas etc, where the scatter is everywhere bar where it should be..
Also took my calipres to a brake specialist (Godspeed) to get recondition and get them painted red
