Excellent, I assume but the pipe connectors, that the engine has zero play (solid engine mounts)?

The engine has solid mounts and is also braced but these claps do allow movement http://www.earls.co.uk/earls/quickdisconnects/wigg...

A pic of my expansion bottle and billet clamp

Love it clap

Would you like any help sticking the screen back in, or do you have a guy?

Wouldn't it have been easier to state that to start with?

looks an awesome build with some trick parts

are you going to add extra bracing around the turbo framework? i can see the manifold cracking quite quickly with that weight hanging off it combined with a stiff car/ engine

Fair enough. But it was a legitimate offer to help not tout for 'work'.

Good luck with the rest of the project.

Cool looking piece of kit.
One thing that comes to my head: being mounted where they are, wouldn't the rad (fans in particular) be fairly prone to damage? Though they maybe aren't low below the bodywork (can't really tell) it may not be an issue, but I'd probably still be concerned with stones and stuff being kicked up.

Is that what this alloy piece is for here on the waste side of the turbo - large yellow arrow - to mout the rose joint to - smaller yellow arrow?

If it is alloy wont it be a bit hot there? I thought thats why the waste side is usually cast steal / iron based?

Hi Danny,

Great project - looking forward to seeing it up and running.

I'm interested in the exhaust manifold you have - could you tell me where you had it made and roughly how much please?

Many thanks,
Chris

The exhaust was done by Simpson race exhausts and think it was £2300

The way your wastegate is positioned will hamper the way it will work..
also is the collector slip jointed or welded to the pipes?
