I'll give you a shout before the weather gets really horrible and meet you at the Cottage Loaf for a pint.

You're not far off there! Could do with some fine weather to get these doors sorted. Currently have a green RH door keeping it weather proof. Speak to you soon. Work on Minis never ends
I read the mustang thread the other day and heard about this classic 911 idea but this is not what i expected!
If someone gave me a lot of money and said "scho, go out and buy yourself a propper car" this is what that car would look like.
Absoloute pinnacle of the 911 shape for me, no impace bumpers and a little more definition than the 993: perfect. The wide body and that wing too...OOOFF.
Must get myself down to one of your meets and have a butchers.
Congratlations on a superb purchase!

I'd agree with you there. THe 964 is just that bit more modern than the 930 but doesn't have the smoothed out shape of the 993. That said I'd be happy with either and the 993 GT2 would be my dream Porsche. If someone gave me a lot of money and said "scho, go out and buy yourself a propper car" this is what that car would look like.

LM's and Pork go so well together a match made in heaven, tyres look like dunlop sport max SP not bad but not great and crap for track work apparently.
Yeah, I love the LMs. They definitely give Porsches a race car look. The car was used mainly on track by the last owner which probably explains his comments on the Dunlops. Must admit for road they seem OK, but I've only driven it in the dry so far.
Such a fantastic looking car!!
As said above - really is what a 911 should look like - More modern ones dont do it for me. Im a young pup , but appreciate the more 'retro' design more than anything else.
Hats off to you sir.
You planning on doing trackdays with it too i presume, Hopefully i'll see you on track next year? Will have to keep the thread updated with plans - would be great to see it in the flesh.
