Will get an RR day before the winter sets in I think. Why did you sell??

I started a new job where I'd be doing 20k a year so used it for a few months before finding it a good home and bought a new Hawkeye STI. Both great cars but the GT4 is still my no1

Hugely underrated cars these, most people go for the Subaru or Evo etc and the Celica tends to get overlooked.
For good reason, Iv owned both and my Evo 6 Was a better car in every possible way.

Either way, it was still an underdog. That's why I love them.

Picture of the gauges now wired in.

Pressure is apparently 10bar!! redface Hmmm, think I either have a faulty sender, wired incorrectly or a bad earth.

Very hapy with them, considering they're not the £200 per gauge Defi ones that get rave reviews.

Seriously considering one of these as my next car. What sort of mpg do you get out of it?

I get about 28 consistently, with good country road driving plus "making progress". Luckily I don't have to do much town driving!

I think on track it would go down to about 8-9! yikes

I think I saw 6-7 on track and rarely more than low twenties in normal use. Mine did overfuel like a bh though.

Why would a turbo be illegal?

Are you referring to Toyota's foray into circumventing the Group A rules back in the day?

I think he's referring to this

http://homepage.virgin.net/shalco.com/tte_ban.htm

Either that or there's a private joke going on here.

A couple of extra pics now that I've stopped working on it every weekend!!

I had planned on fitting a new set of wheels but the buggers dont clear the brake calipers. It's the only time I've cursed having big brakes!!
