I am also in the process of refurbing the calipers gloss black... although So tempted to do them red but not sure if it would look right on the car with it being blue. any thoughts on this would be appreciated!!!
If it were me, I would go for (in order of preference)

Silver Caliper / Black Logo
Yellow Caliper / Black Logo
Black Caliper / Yellow Logo

I think red could clash against the blue and look too 'DIYish' personally, but my fav are Shiney Silver calipers.

Tamora looks awesome, I would go with the black calipers with yellow writing.
Glad to see someone who earns there crust and enjoys it.

Absolutely beautiful. Good on you for being different too! Can I ask how much something like that costs to buy? I like it a lot!!!

Right then got chance to have a go at refurbing one of the front AP racing calipers today. The calipers had faded and were just looking generally untidy. So firstly I spent a good while cleaning them then sanding down with wet and dry ready for paint. I normally paint my cars calipers with a brush but decided to spray this time and the finish is just on another level! It took me ages masking it all up especially the TVR writing but I wanted an excellent finish. I am very pleased with the end result. Just a few photos until I get it outside will do more pics once wheel is on etc. let me know what you think smile

BEFORE

ALL MASKED UP AND READY FOR 3 COATS OF HIGH TEMP GLOSS PAINT

Deffo a good move going with Black/Yellow, top man! Lovely Tam too, love watching the attention to detail in the Readers' Cars section, easily my favourite section on PH!

cheers guys just doing the back calliper on the drivers side tonight then going to turn it round tomorrow and get the passenger side brakes up to scratch. will have to get some better photos in daylight as the front calliper really has came up like it was powder coated, a really smooth finish... chuffed to bits! Also touched a few bits up around the suspension with some white paint pics to follow. now I have had the back up on axle stands its tempted me for another job.... Polishing the whole exhaust system underneath. I am getting all OCD now lol

Impressive looking Tivver there ,colour helps but the attention to detail is a credit to you.

Just make sure you use it as per manufacturers instruction

I have declared it SORN through December and January was going to leave it in the garage through Feb also but I just need to get out driving it. Less than 2 weeks and I ll be driving it a few days a week weather permitting. So thought I would get some jobs done in the time I would normally be driving it
