Everyone's opinions and advice is appreciated... I suppose the thing with modding is that you don't always set off with the intention of spending what you finally do... One thing kinda leads to another and before you know where you are, you've changed just about everything.

Must admit though, I've enjoyed the journey & the shows, etc and it's felt quite good having a car that's quite individual.

Probably won't be doing so much to my next car lol :-)

Yep. I can see why someone would want a diesel saloon with bits stuck on instead of this. I really can.

But it isnt individual. It looks the same as other "modded" cars.

You have changed an unbelievably dull motor car into and unbelievably dull motor car with extra speakers and a different colour. From this I can only reach one unescapable conclusion...you are single.

When you spend a big wedge on "ICE" is that because you really like music, or just like making a lot of noise?

Serious question and not in malice just curious,

Any reason why you would choose to spend 50K on that car rather than by this?>>

The classic anti-modified-car argument... that fails to take into account that the OP may not have wanted an expensive, unreliable Italian hairdressers car that costs more to service and insure than a Lexus would cost for it's entire lifespan....

wink

I'm no "modder", but I have absolutely no problem with someone who chooses to personalise their car, provided they do so safely.

Jaz, enjoy your car and ignore the grumpy old men.

It's great that people have hobbies, and I applaud people doing what they want in life, but I sure as hell don't understand spending £50k on this when you could have all sorts of fantastic cars for the same money.

Great-natured response in the face of lots of negative criticism. Some of us may not like your car, but you have a cracking attitude, chap! smile

I never said I was grumpy about it just curious, only reason I posted a 355 is that its a common one to post, there are obviosly other more practical cars to post at that cost so i'll choose those next time thumbup

To be fair, if OP bought a brand new car - it's never a bargain!

Not my type of thing, but comes down to a personal taste.
Is that boot even useable now? For bigger pieces of luggage?

Personally if I was to spend £50k on modding a car I would have chosen a better base. Like a skyline or supra something that actually has performace to start with.

Each to their own
