My 205 4X4 Cosworth

I think most would want to wrap it white and then graphics over the top. I’d be surprised if they want to print the graphics in to a wrap. Even then trying to get the alignment correct is difficult to say the least!
Shrinkage and peeling shouldn’t be an issue if the correct materials, cleaning and application procedure are followed.
I did this one over a decade ago!

PH at it's best. Alex
People mocked me when I drove 30 mins to pick up a Cuckoo clock for a PH member and shipped it to them as the ebay seller would not do it...people did not get the concept of paying forward favours and now look how I get repaid!!!

Did a bit more work on the exhaust tunnel today. It will take a lot more straightening etc but it’s getting there. Big new compressor arrives tomorrow so I can finish soda blasting the boot floor. I have straightened out most of the dents and bulges from jacking accidents over the years.

(Not judging!) but if you ever feel like treating yourself to a new boot floor, you know they're available?

Nice idea but the floor has a cradle going through it into the cage so it would take soooo much work. It should have been done when the cage went in.https://www.steelpanels.co.uk/products/peugeot/205...
Most of it is dollying up nicely and the soda is bare metalling it well.
These holes above the turrets needed filling in.
It’s not finished yet but you can see the infil with a curve behind the top mount. There is a lid on it too.
All the holes in the 1/4 a will be welded up then ground back ready for the paint work / filler etc

Crazy details like the specially constructed exhaust tunnel are what draw the Binky comparisons. Edited by Caddyshack on Thursday 19th May 19:51
Can't wait to see and hear it running!
Angry day today. I decided to flip the car and offer up a suspension setup.
The turrets are about 2 inches too far back in the shell. The supplied suspension by the cage and turret builder is like a Range Rover even on its bump stops and the linkage arm has not been welded straight.
All stuff I will have to resolve but it is annoying.
Above: wheel not central even with it leaning over like that.
Above: wheel not central and suspension on its bump stops….still there is 2 inches of gap on the wheel to the arch.
Above is big gap whilst turning the link arm:
Above is small gap whilst turning the link arm.
The link arm has to be wound out beyond the safe limit of the spherical joint just to reach the connection.
It’s lucky I didn’t part with thousands of pounds and have to forcefully take my car back after 3 years wait to now cut it all out and start again eh?…..oh wait!!!

It’s an error that any idiot could make. The Cosworth standard beam that was in the car has a trailing arm so the old shock sat at the back of the arm with a small strut tower, they have cut that out and merrily welded a new one in its place for a totally different suspension set up (that they supplied and put in) DOH!
