Seeing the number of recent posts I was half expecting to read that Pete had gone and bought a Konigsegg

I notice the Chiron wasn’t mentioned in your upcoming dream garage Pete? Is it still coming?

After spending a bit of time on track with one I’ve decided against it, definitely a one trick pony.

That's really interesting. I want all my cars to be able to do something - throw bags in the back of, go to a hotel, go to Spa/The Ring - that involves either camping or some form of practicality.

I sense nothing like that from the untimate hyper cars (like the Chiron). I like the design, I like the back story, I like everything about it but if I were in your position, I would struggle to justify it over other cars. Maybe if I was the Sultan of Brunei, but aside from that....

Glad to see you posting again, Pete.

Still waiting for that 695 review vid you promised wink
Took some time off to get married, sort some family affairs out and get back to my charity work. It’ll be done one day I’m sure and I’ll definitely make sure to mention your name lots of times in the vid haha

Perhaps more importantly is the 48 / 52 front / rear weight distribution and the fact that the pivot point is at the drivers hip point, it genuinely feels like it steers from where you are sitting, most definitely the best engineered and considered car I have ever driven

Seems we’ve got a warbler over here!!!
No need to get in a flap. Although there have been some cracking yolks it's about time we all stopped winging it and got to the clutch of the matter. 2manycars, what is your next chick to hatch?

Oh. And hot hatches, what are you currently a fan of?

Ok ok let’s get back on track, it was fun whilst it lasted but I think it’s as dead as a dodo now.
My next chick to hatch has got to be the classic Ferrari route but I’m keeping that one to myself.

Hot hatch wise I absolutely love the Honda-E, it’s just so cool.

I can't recognise half the cars, but just because of the holy quintet (LaF, Enzo, F50, F40, 288 GTO) , 911 GT1 and CLK GTR, I must conclude that is the best garage in the world
