Hey Pete, another good video mate. Glad you're upgrading the cameras but i do think it's great!
Have you been approached by any of the other vloggers yet (shmee, SOL, etc)
Cheers, yeah I’ve been messaged by a few of them but I’m not interested. I just want to do real reviews and not what the manufacturers want me to say. Have you been approached by any of the other vloggers yet (shmee, SOL, etc)

Pete
I saw JWW ‘speccing’ his tdf at Joe Macari for about 30 minutes. Then right at the end he says he couldn’t afford it and maybe one day he’ll get one.
Who needs to watch a 30 minute video about what the car looks like? Anyone can pick up a copy of Evo and read what it’s like.
If you’re going to the extreme of doing a 30 minute video about the car, I’d hope he’d buy it.
I only ever tell you guys what I’m getting when I know it’s coming my way, otherwise it just sounds like a lie.
Maybe that’s just me but that’s how I do it, I only talk about cars that I own, not what I’d like if I could afford it.
Cheers
Pete

If Pete did like American, the latest Ford GT would be a good compliment to his stable surely, may appreciate a bit too.
Aye, dunno how hard they are to get hold of though? Are the owners allowed to sell them yet?jonamv8 said:
Enjoyed that vid, yeah the sound wasnt great in points so I just cranked the volume to make up for it.
loved the honesty, loved the fact it sounded like you and your pal were doing what me and my car mates would do if we were running round in a nice car, talking about it and ragging it about a bit!!! it feels natural and its refreshing.
I think you'll do well with these, not that you need to LOL. Nice garage mate
Thank you, yeah I’m just a lad that likes to rag his cars about haha. Keep watching, there’s plenty more vids coming soonloved the honesty, loved the fact it sounded like you and your pal were doing what me and my car mates would do if we were running round in a nice car, talking about it and ragging it about a bit!!! it feels natural and its refreshing.

Got to echo what everyone else has said, really natural style and feels like your having fun together.
Your mates face when you plant it is hilarious, he looks like he's going to be sick half the time and you stop him mid sentence several times.
help a ferrari n00b out and let me know what the car is in the background at 10.34... looks factory fresh.
Yeah we have great banter, he’s a top bloke. A firefighter and racing driver so I don’t know why he gets so scared haha.
Don’t know which car you mean, the only one I can see at that time is the AMV12S. Is that what you were talking about?

Don't want to sound like a party pooper but just be careful with filming while hooning, I'm sure you have heard it all a million times before and I know you were on a closed road but I would hate to see you get any potential grief. Enjoying the videos though, very different from the youtubers in a good way.
If you ever plan on attending any meets anywhere, please mention it in the thread as I'm sure there are plenty of us who would love to come and have a quick drool and a chinwag over whatever you were driving.
Keep it up
Cheers for the heads up, that’s why I always say “I’m on a country road with a 60mph limit” because I always make sure I do it legally. I never partake in dangerous driving, I prefer my license, cars and freedom rather than jail haha. Yeah of course. I guess that poses another question I can't remember being asked... have you ever driven your cars on the autobahn? What was the highest speed you reached and in what car? I'm always blown away by the speed that modern cars can blast past 300kph. Technology is a wonderfully impressive thing.
Fastest I’ve done is 201mph, not on the autobahn though. Doofus said:

308??
Ah that’s a 1 of 1 308 fibreglass bodied Fezza. They didn’t make it again as it cracked under duress. Or so I’ve been told!308??
Sounds like there is a story behind the car, any story on it at all?

Good man!
I mentioned it before, but if you need a Dubai based car tester / buyer then I'm sure I could drop the day job to assist :-P
Took my 3yr old son to this place to look at motors. He was in his element!

I have to ask this Pete but how do you cope with the excitement of buying these fabulous cars and then just parking them?
I cant imagine buying a CGT, having it delivered and then not even starting it up let alone taking out for a drive.
how many of your collection have you not driven?
I’ve driven most of them, there’s probably about 10 or so that I’ve not driven yet. I cant imagine buying a CGT, having it delivered and then not even starting it up let alone taking out for a drive.

The excitement is always there, I just spread it out. It’s nice knowing that if I have a free day and the weathers good then I can get whatever I want to suit my mood.
Like today, the GTC4Lusso has gone off to Topaz for full PPF so I’ve asked for my 695 to be dropped off at my house. I’m gonna have some food whilst I’m waiting then I’m off to the gym in it. I know I’ll enjoy driving that today more than any other car. Henceforth the excitement is always there.

Spotted this in the Isle of Man motor museum & couldn't help thinking of Pete's favourite car! Apologies for the phone quality..
Seriously good thread & just the type of reading material required while I got over my knee op (should have been good to go after 3 weeks, still hobbled after 7 )
Hope the knee mends before summer is over. Winter recovery is the worst.
Please tell us that it was a cool accident, like jumping a canyon or fighting an emperor penguin or something special.

I know there are a lot of cars to choose from Peter but what car just feels ‘special’ when you sit in it, regardless of price?
I was going to ask what car just feels outrageous and unbelievable that it’s an actual car but I guess not many of these cars can be used on our roads to 1/10 of their capabilities without thinking about losing and driving licence.
I had a Fiesta that was only 240bhp and I picked up some points in that on the motorway by driving like a tit so much that I sold it. It had other negatives but that was one of the reasons.
I can imagine the LFA and CGT making any man feel alive by sitting in them and turning them on
Easy answer, my Fiat 695 biposto. I was going to ask what car just feels outrageous and unbelievable that it’s an actual car but I guess not many of these cars can be used on our roads to 1/10 of their capabilities without thinking about losing and driving licence.

I’d have that over every one of my cars, it’s just exactly how a car should make you feel. Just like a mark 1 MX-5.

Hi Pete, you know the ski jump scene from the start of The Spy Who Loved Me? It was nothing like that, I tripped over a plant pot.. There was some other crap going on in there but that was what tipped it over the edge. Not really one to tell the grandkids. Must add that this superb thread has helped give me a sense of perspective (if one were needed) - it's only a feckin knee! Your good self & family have climbed rather bigger hills. Again, respect.
Thanks buddy, hope you’re knee heals soon. You’ll have to tell everyone you did a ski jump now haha. Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
