Ok then, the thread stays. Thanks for all the positive feedback people.
I’ll be sure to drop in details of my new cars whenever they arrive.

Here is a summary of what cars are coming to me before the end of the year.

My DB5 is being delivered to me next week, some time after Xmas day.
My 458 Aperta is back at Topaz today and will be dropped back off next week.
Same as the LFA.
Aston Works have just tracked me down a Beautiful DB2/4 which I think I’ll take.
Got Franco from Joe Macari on the lookout for a 300sl Gullwing.
My 675lt should be finishing it’s yearly service now so that’ll be back in storage until after winter.
My 695 is on the drive and looking as beautiful as ever.
Just waiting on delivery for my F355 and 599 GTO now then I can rest for Xmas.
After all this, I owe someone on here a video of the LFA & CGT next to each other revving their nuts off.

That video will be coming soon.

Cheers

Pete

Wowsers, what a thread.

Really wasn't sure where this was heading when I saw the post "couldn't remember where I put my 250" was going to log out but then thought surely no-one is so sick minded to troll using fake health issues... (it seems there is)

I'm pleased I kept reading.

Amazing story. A real wakeup call that you sound like your still not fully recovered.. Am sure you will be back to full fitness very soon.
Hats off for all the work and charity stuff you and associates do for those poor little kiddies (just taken delivery of our first child 4 weeks old biggrin ) Heart breaking stuff.

Good luck with all these 4 wheeled "investments" and please don't tire of sharing them with us.

Very interested in how you guys look after such fleets.. do you employ someone fulltime to care for them and keep them "alive" and arrange servicing etc??
That may well take some of the enjoyment out of owning so many cars.
All fascinating stuff..

Also added you on Insta.. J6MXE

I have also been curious about this sort of thing as well. I find it tricky enough keeping up with my cars needs and I only have one! Especially relevant when you are adding classics to the collection, I'm sure they demand more looking after than the latest cars.

Also, if we find your 250 before you do....do we get a go? biggrin

('course, you might have found it by now, I'm only a few pages in!)

2manycars, if you're still AMA'ing I'd love to hear your business story.

Was is something you always had an idea and a game plan for? Or perhaps something you fell into: a job you took, worked your way up a bit and then thought "I can do it way better than this" and set up on your own? Or maybe presented with an opportunity one day and thought "hmmm might have legs, see where it goes"...and the rest, as they say, is history.

Always intriguing these stories. I love how innocuous things can snowball into something great.

(And don't give us any I was lucky spiel...you make your own luck!! Luck proffers opportunity, but you still have to have the courage and the nouse to act on it and make the most of it).
Hmmm, I’ll give you the very brief rundown as I don’t want to turn this thread into something narcissistic.

Not really that interested in much as a kid apart from cars. Hated the schooling system and the way they taught the syllabus. Messed about a lot in school and daydreamed about fast cars and general teenager boy things ha.
Got suspended on the last day of school for fighting and was told I wasn’t allowed to sit my GCSE’s, my parents fought for me to take them but my heart wasn’t in it so I didn’t even really turn up for most.
Anyway, got 0 GCSE’s and went to college for a year to retake the essential ones and started messing about selling ‘returns’ electronics (its legal don’t worry). Quit college and started a job at Starbucks whilst I was training for the Royal Marines. Torn my calf during my PRMC and was told to come back in other 6-12 months.
Started a job at a call centre selling British Gas electricity supply contracts to businesses. Rose to the top quickly, was promised loads of things but they never transpired.
Quit there, took on 2 jobs as well as setting up my own business selling electricity and gas to businesses. Set up with £400, no help from my parents. Still held onto the other two jobs and saved every penny I could until I could quit one of the jobs to focus that time in my own business. Copied that until I was just down to my own company job, plowed nearly 18 years into it and yeah, that’s about it.
I do lots of other stuff but like I said, let’s not bore everyone, let’s get some more pictures and videos of the LFA on here.

Cheers
Pete
Pete, thanks for sharing your story, I’ve read through most of this post now and it’s really inspirational. I couldn’t help noticing above, the British Gas call centre reference. Did you ever know Simon George, the guy from Evo and 6th gear experiences with the famous murcielago. I seem to recall he’s an ex BG guy as well ? I’m in energy as well, but on the supplier side, I think I should be moving though !

Great thread and love your attitude to life. Have tried adding you on Instagram (stephenprutter). Can't wait to see the Williams Singer in more detail, as soon as I saw the details for that it jumped straight to the top of my ultimate car list.

Nice to know you have much coming up, keep it up, hope to see some great content soon.
However health is priority, all at your own pace. Cars are great things to own, but for content to be on here they need to be driven by someone (you!) unless you're offering wink I understand that it may be difficult to handle the situation regarding your brain, it must be mentally and physically tough, rest is needed and recovery is needed. Make sure your mind is clear, niggles are just worries that shouldn't be worries. Most importantly, rest, as that is the best medicine that can ever be prescribed for anyone in any illness.

Take care and have a merry christmas and happy new year.

Hi everyone
Hope you’ve all had a good break and managed to relax. December is always a busy time for me so sorry if I’ve not replied to many people on here.
Anyway, my LFA should be with me next week, along with my Speciale Aperta and M2 all coming back from Topaz. Hopefully I’ll get some pictures of them all together at Topaz under the right light tomorrow. My DB5 gets delivered on Saturday. Aston Works are starting the interior refurb on my DB2/4 in January.
Thought I’d share some pictures with you wonderful people. Oh and I’ve got a 300sl gullwing coming early next year too.
