Blimey! That's shocking.

I hope the car is back with the dealer and you've been given a full refund!!

The instagram story went into quite a bit more detail about the situation - probably not kosher to show it all on PH - I think a full refund might be the least of their worries. M2 CS's aren't... mega rare, I'm guessing there might be a different one on the horizon shortly?

That's a shame. Nothing worse than new car day being ruined with a st car.

I take it it was brand new?

Looks like a hell of prang repair. Little bumper nudges you kinda expect but not door and wing removals.

Just seen this on Instagram. How on earth did they think they could get away that?
Shockingly awful!

Hopefully you find another to your liking somewhere.

They do look good in black with gold wheels.

Yeh right! That damage was obvious to a partially sighted person, let alone a company who sells cars. You'd think they would know who Pete was and his large social media following (not that that is acceptable to any customer, but you wouldn't get the same public backlash trying it on with someone else I'd imagine).

Just seen the insta story - bloody hell. How they thought anyone let alone a serial high end car buyer would accept that shyte is beyond me. Hope you take 'em to the cleaners and share the result. On another note, new youtube channel sounds really interesting, if you'd like some still photography to back up the video stuff it'd be a pleasure to get involved in the project - link in bio thumbup

the flawed logic could be (if they knew who he was, which isn't likely unless he mentioned it...) that they might think he has so many cars that it's just going to be locked up somewhere and never paid attention to so he won't notice

Probably giving them too much credit for intelligence or research skills, they probably just wanted to flush it out into the market no matter who phoned up!

Obviously avoiding the name/shame shackles of here but given the name of the dealership in question, is that associated with the well known former racing driver or just coincidence?

Maybe it was damaged BY a transit. Bouncing down the side of it at 60mph.

Yeah probably but lets face it they should be dumping such a poorly prepared car on anyone. I bet the DP wouldn't accept it himself....

That requires insurance company involvement. No insurance, no marker. Anyone recall the GT3 thread where an OPC reshelled a totally fked car and sold it as approved used.
