Yours does look nice in red but I still prefer the spirit blue
Its not red its Molten Orange, and didnt go for blue because everyone else in the country has gone for blue near enough.

Got a front splitter on the way this week so will get some pics up when its fitted.

Looks nice, pity it's not on a spirit blue ST wink
Orange is the way forward mate, everyones got a spirit blue one, too tight fisted to stump up the extra cash for the orange!

Ok so that pic was the photoshop you got me, heres the real item painted and fitted smile

Made it using a standard ST rear bumper trim and added the fins myself, made them out of bits of perspex number plate plastic, cut some slots in the trim and poked them through, glued them in place and smoothed it all in with a bit of filler. Painted it the same sorta colour as my wheels to make it stand out a bit more than just black.

The car is how i want it now, i realise you can go too far as i did this to my first couple of cars in my younger years, so im not doing anything else to it, was tempted with some lowering springs from H&R but with the splitter it will sit too low and i wont get it over speed bumps or off my sloping driveway.

So thats it for the car until feb/march when im also joining the spirit blue masses with another ST smile

The splitter was from Finsport.com, loads of great stuff for the ST on there, yes you have to drill holes in the underside of the bumper. You cant see them even if you remove the splitter as they are underneath the car.

And no my mirrors dont fold as that option was not available when i got the car back in april, it is available now as part of the convenience pack which is about 300 quid i believe.

The headlights are fine in the dark, they do their job as headlights!

Heard mixed reviews of the mountune kit, nice chunk of extra torque but cars then underperforming on dynos.

Dose the car have ambient. Lighting in the footwell
It has normal footwell lights but the bulbs can be replaced for red led items to match the rest of the ambient lighting.

Oh and should mention the orange beast is being replaced march 1st with a footballers wives white one, saving on the paint colour so im having the mountune kit fitted to this one. Car arrived at dealer i work at last week so ive just got to wait a month and a half now to swap into it smile

Yeah im swapping the bits off the orange one onto the white one, simply swapping cars as it doesnt cost me to change into a new one, plus ive come to the conclusion i dont need sat nav and some of the other bits, new ones costing me less a month plus i get the mountune included. Should look nice with the black headlights and splitter fitted.

how does it cost you the same/less for a brand new car?

only use 3M wrap - its the best and easiest to work with.

Black wheels have been done to death though thats the only problem. Tempted to leave them dark grey and maybe paint the roof to match but undecided yet.

Swapped the headlights, grilles, badges and wind deflectors off the orange one today, just gotta fit the splitter now to finish the front end off. Loving the white with the black and red bits.
