Nurburgring trip was successful, but had to change a bearing on the front and the rear diff bearings finally started to whine after 30 years. I should have changed them when doing the Weir Performance MaxGrip upgrade 6 years ago, but I was being cheap and they were ok-ish then. Ah well

Slight issue came up the last time the wheel bearings gave up the ghost at the Nurburgring. Excessive movement meant the calipers touched the inside of the wheels. With the wheel bearings sorted, I've shaved the calipers a touch so it won't happen the next time bearings fail. Just need to get a bit of paint on them and have the inside of the wheels re-coated now.

That's exactly it. When building the cage, I thought about extending to the top hats of the turrets like the WRC cars. But at the time, I intended on chopping the old turrets out first. Time went on and I didn't manage to find the time until recently. But yes, that's one of the jobs I'll do this year, so the strut brace won't be needed.
Slight cold start hesitation, now sorted by Jim Gibbs at SCS.

For the sake of the ballache of fitting and removing again, I’d deffo fit one, completely changes howthe LSD locks. It’s needed IMO. Weir are a pain in the ass to deal with, but if you contact Bara he had a few in stock ready, so ask if you can buy one off him. Top bloke and will understand your predicament.
I hope you have a billet cover, because you’ll eventually shatter the standard cover as it’s a weaker material to the cast casing itself.

They're high torque engagement, so don't worry about it. Just make sure you get a Weir kit to strengthen it. I agree it sounds a big faff, but at the end of the day, the total cost for a fit and forget item is worth it. Or you can spend triple the price on a 9" motorsport item  The kit comes with everything you need to bolt it up to your beam (look at my previous pics), but you need a billet cover though.

Ive got all the fitting kit and billet rear cover so im all good on that side of things. Really need to do a quaife gearkit and 6 degree beam too ideally at the same time, so i was thinking if i can get away with leaving the diff its money I could do with saving. Like i say my main concern is avoiding a one tyre fire but it hard to see from looking online if that will be an issue or not
