Glad to see you back and to see that you haven’t slowed down any on the ordering/buying front. I must say you have very similar taste to me if I found myself to be in the fortunate position to be able to shop for cars the way you do!
I am one of the two guys you mentioned in the first post also ???? I dropped you an email as suggested.
Carlos, my man. It was you and Giblet. I do remember, i just lost your details on my phone. When are you free? And what did you want to go out in, was it the LFA or the Porsche CGT?I am one of the two guys you mentioned in the first post also ???? I dropped you an email as suggested.
Let’s get it in before the snow falls.
Great to hear from you. Hope you’re keeping well.

Another here that followed the other thread (and agree it went abit off topic) looking forward to seeing more amazing purchases!
Did the possible charity event idea with your cars and Chris Harris go any further?
I did the stupid thing of coming off Instagram without taking his details but yeah there should be something coming up hopefully. After all he’ll want to probably drive the Singer DLS head to head with the 488 Pista Spyder. A few years off but will still be to good to miss out on. Did the possible charity event idea with your cars and Chris Harris go any further?

Great to see you back on here Pete. Looking forward to seeing the new additions to your already impressive collection.
Is that your Sierra Cosworth next to the Mclaren chassis? Do you have any bikes in your collection or thought about adding any?
No that’s the DP of McLaren’s Cosworth. We shared a garage for while before I got a few of my own. Is that your Sierra Cosworth next to the Mclaren chassis? Do you have any bikes in your collection or thought about adding any?
Bikes!!! I still have my KX250F race bike but I’m not allowed on bikes anymore due to my brain surgery. Gutted really because I had a garage absolutely full to the brim of them.

Hey Pete, glad to have you back.
Stick to cars you say? Was wondering, are there any big options you've stuck on a new car and ended up wondering why you bothered? Am always wondering if there's a bit of profit hype going on with some.
Nah, I don’t believe in regrets so I’m happy with everything I’ve ever specced in my cars. Stick to cars you say? Was wondering, are there any big options you've stuck on a new car and ended up wondering why you bothered? Am always wondering if there's a bit of profit hype going on with some.

Glad to see you posting again, Pete.
Still waiting for that 695 review vid you promised
Took some time off to get married, sort some family affairs out and get back to my charity work. It’ll be done one day I’m sure and I’ll definitely make sure to mention your name lots of times in the vid hahaStill waiting for that 695 review vid you promised

Pete, your blue 812 looks a truly lovely car - what a great colour and all the better for being different. Your assistance with the FM of the hospices is a great way of thanking the NHS for what they've done for you. It's been quiet on the forum without you - good to see you're back
The NHS was and still is great to me so it’s more like a crusade for me, that and I can be a right petty bd when I see companies bully others just for profit.

I'd forgotten about the LFA thread but I'm now excited to follow this one as I like your car choices.
How's the M600 coming along, do you have any idea on a delivery date yet?
And always nice to hear of the charity stuff you're willing to share too. It's genuinely heart warming and as interesting to read for me as the car buying bits.
The M600 is still in the pipeline but taking longer than I expected as they take about 18 months for each one, and as I’m aware they only make one or two at a time. How's the M600 coming along, do you have any idea on a delivery date yet?

2MC, we've never met but I'd like to say two things.
1. I love your attitude to car collecting.
2. Great to see philanthropy is still alive and kicking. Well done fella.
Appreciate it, thanks. There’s lots of good people out there, I think it’s just today’s media that tries to st on everyone. I don’t understand why bad press sells better than good press but it does. 1. I love your attitude to car collecting.

Fox News tried to slam Mr. Rogers recently!!!! He’s like the nicest man that’s ever lived. Really gets on my nerves.

Top man, I think its that attitude and the great car collection that made the last thread so enjoyable. I haven't been around much of late so didn't know it had finished.
Hopefully this one will carry on minus whatever elements spoiled the last one.
I’m positive it’ll carry on, I’ll just have to ignore the people that have a tendency to portray their rudeness through a car enthusiast forum. Hopefully this one will carry on minus whatever elements spoiled the last one.

I hope it does would be a great day! I’m also northwest (Leyland) and drive hgvs for Waitrose so often in and around Cheshire hope I catch a glimpse of the Singer (or any of your cars!) out and about would be great to see one on the road!
Bloody hell, you sir must be a very talented driver to navigate a HGV through these tight Cheshire country roads. Especially to Waitrose as London Road (AE) is always busy and very congested. Any near misses or horror stories?Hilts said:
Good to see you posting again, I only caught a bit of the last thread before it was closed. Liked the cars though and the one video I saw, the one where you picked up the McLaren.
Maybe I can help contribute a bit more on this one with some questions etc. but meanwhile, watching!
Please do, ask away. Maybe I can help contribute a bit more on this one with some questions etc. but meanwhile, watching!

He said in another thread the Singer is due in 2022 ,so don't hold your breath for a spot of that.
Patience is the key....
It’s definitely a virtue I don’t possess haha. I’ll be flying over to California at least 5 times during the build to check on the build so I’ll update everyone with pictures. I’ve also got a trip to Williams lined up to see my engine build, now that will be pure car porn. Patience is the key....
Ive talked a lot on here so thought I’d throw a few more pics up whilst going through my photo album. Someone asked if I’ve ever added options to my car and thought “why!!”. Well I certainly don’t think that on my F1 inspired McLaren gold engine bay that I put on my 675lt, yet I’m sure for the price some people would definitely wonder why. I do love it however. Picture below.
