95k miles reached on the drive to work this morning, couldn't get a picture though as I was on the A63 at the time.

I think it is a little optimistic, though that figure is bumped up by the 600+ mile trip to Somerset. Seems to be averaging about 46-47mpg under normal driving, a mix of town and a roads etc

It is indeed, I'm happy with the fuel economy it is giving.

I find the obc on the s max to be pretty accurate normally
That's good, I suppose I haven't had this car long enough to be sure how accurate the obc is and as I say that average includes the Somerset run so will be higher.

Washed the car today and been round touching in some of the worst of the stone chips, mainly where I noticed it had gone to metal, just to try and stop ugly rust spots appearing.

Had a nice weekend in Bedfordshire this last weekend, the car did around 500 miles in 3 days though I forgot to make a note of the mileage before we left so I'm unsure exactly how many. We went to a couple of farm places, The Shuttleworth Collection and Gardens and finished at Blenheim Palace yesterday.

Some garages in Hull ran out on Friday but it looks like the situation is easing a little, this morning I have noticed a few garages that are open for business and seem to be selling fuel as normal. How is the fuel situation where you are Bobberoo?

ste Eyersey1234, every station we pass is either shut and out of fuel or queued down the road, luckily we both filled up last week!!!
Lucky you did, I've seen a few stations where drivers are queueing. In London today with work, just about every service area on the M1 is sold out, it's crazy.

Since our trip away at the weekend the Focus had developed an annoying squeak and last night I finally figured out what it was, the passenger sun visor hadn't been clipped back in properly and as the car went over a bump the visor moved.

Still enjoying driving it?
Yeah it's great, used the cruise control a lot on our weekend away, my feet not being on the pedals did worry Mrs Eyersey though laugh

She's not alone Eyersey1234, Mrs Bobbers refuses to use her cruise control!!!
Any reason why she won't use it? I'm used to it with the coaches having it so doesn't bother me.

They all do that sir.

(She couldnt possibly look for the button that turns it on, and then when the car infront slows down, instead of you know, using the brakes to slow down, she panics, thinks about it, looks down at the steering wheel, cancels the cruise control, then looks up, and then has to jump on the brakes..)
Aah I see its a trait of the female model is it?

To be fair Mrs Eyerseys Corsa doesn't have cruise control so she isn't used to it.
