I decided to fix my broken top dash compartment, it seems that I can use bin lid catches hehe I ordered 100 of them on Amazon for £3,

The part I need
The broken part..

I got out my finest gorilla glue, I'll see if it works tomorrow

If it doesn't hold, I'll use some screws.

I also took it to my local ETB today to get my wheel wobble sorted over 60mph, to 75ish.. they did the wheel balancing, it feels so much better now. There is also a slight droning noise from 20mph onwards, I did think wheel bearings, these are fine they said, I can only think that the Toyo Proxes T1R are on the loud side!

I've had T1R on a few cars and wouldn't say they are noisy, wheel bearings however usually make noise 60+mph.

Quick question what size are you wheels? nothing to do with the noise, just deciding if I need to upgrade haha.
Ah, may not be bearings then. This can be from 20 upwards. When it went in for it's oil service, the technician did say there was quite a lot of rust on the inside of the brake disk, not sure if that can cause a noise as well.

Mine are 18 inch I believe, are you looking to get some bigger?

Yeh I think the non QV cars have 17" they look good but a little small on my car.
Looking at the pics on your thread, they do look like the horse shoe wheels on mine.

Right, that didn't work. It came off immediately, maybe my glues not very good. I found a screw that's the same vague size, in that went! One should do the trick.

Success!

This should stay on now hopefully, and clips open and closed as it should.

Fingers crossed! I noticed on one of the Alfa parts sites you can buy the whole unit for about £100.
It does seem finally that this may hold, fingers crossed! It is quite useful for sunglasses.

I did see that the other day, that was going to be my final plan, to get a new unit.

Just checked my wheels are 18"
18 seems to look about right on the car, but I have seen the the Giulia Quadrifoglio style of wheel in 19 inch on the Giulietta, that can look good as well.

I like the 159 Ti wheels.
The Ti wheels look great, there's quite a few of them fitted on the Giulietta Enthusiasts site.

Someone fitted a set of these from the Giulia Quadrifoglio, although I can't imagine their cheap!
