sooo a short update...

complete change of strategy - went for forged pistons and rods but stock CR 11.5:1. I have put 3k miles on the new engine and it's running healthy 500hp at 9psi. I just got a smaller supercharger pulley which shall be good for 11psi and 570hp. the bottleneck turned out to be the clutch - even if I am running ceramic one...now there is a three disc clutch on the way, can't wait.

Also changed the front brakes - since I am doing a lot of time attack events on full slicks I had to upgrade to 8piston calipers and 365mm discs.

I had big cooling issues (the main reason why decided to ditch the 9.0:1 CR and big boost idea) so had to get some bonnet scoops and drill the front bumper. Not that crazy about the new look but it works like a dream.

and yup, a short edit from last weekend. the road was closed for a hillclimbing event so we managed to do some runs in the breaks. Now working on a longer edit with all the in car/follow cam footage.

Hope you enjoy it

Saw this sitting in traffic in West Hampstead a few months ago, sounding very mean and looking very cool!

Time for an update. The clutch gave up at the last hill climbing event so got myself an ebay special AP racing triple disc NASCAR clutch, rated for 1400 NM. Got a solid m50 flywheel and my machine shop did a miracle. Here we go

Also I got some braking issues lately - I guess it's the full slicks I started using this season. The Brembo F50s were ok but somehow not my thing. Hello there 8pot quad pads Brembos. Gotta love that 360mm disc and the size of the caliper. Also the pads area now is almost twice the size of the F50s one. And the best part is I can still use the 18" OEM wheels.

Last week managed to plunder my brother's Porsche. So very soon will be running a massive GT2 Banana wing. (not my pic, left the wing yesterday at a friend's carbon shop, he will replicate it)
