Glad to hear it!
I really disliked my Avons, slipped and slid all over the place.
Not plain sailing my side - bonnet lock disconnected itself, the lock then disconnected itself from the cable, the rear shock mounts broke, the handbrake decided not to handbrake, then to brake all the time, and my paint keeps peeling. (and SWMBO keeps reversing the car INTO the garage)
Ho hum, it has only once ever failed to proceed - alternator died, but the light never came on, so there was no sign that the battery was going flat.

Yes, I am afraid to say that yes, both wing mirrors have connected with both sides of the garage, the rear bumper is used as a bumper.
I will say the Avons were better than the energy efficient / green tyres that were on the car when I bought it, they improved your fuel economy by not letting open throttle unless you wanted wheelspin, went slowly around corners unless you wanted understeer etc.

Do Foci like eating headlight bulbs lol? The drivers side one has now blown, just been changing it.
I average 2 bulbs a year.Unscrew the entire headlight unit, pop it out, new bulb in, back together again. When you find a bulb that lasts, please tell me! - Nightbreaker, bog standards, Halfords higher wattage (with the beam well trimmed) - nothing lasts.
(Most annoying was a bulb blowing from checking them on Sunday to the MOT on Monday morning, not that I'm still bitter about that one!)

How easy is changing glowplugs? One of the faults that showed up when my workmate plugged the laptop in was to do with them. It starts and drives ok but I'm wondering if it would be worth putting a new set on.
Pretty simple, they are all across the front of the block.Remove the loom ( don't drop the diddy nuts!) then hopefully they will come out nice and easy. Take time.
Replace with Bosch, less than £30 a set.
