Cars now at TGT. They've given it a quick wash off and will prep it in the New Year.

I'm guessing it goes like STInk?

Was at TGT this summer, picking up my Accord Euro-R .They'd actually imported it themselves in 2018,was in mid- process of them looking for a suitable car to import for me ,in Pearl White, then this one was made available to them by the guy they'd got it for over here! He'd already fitted (through them) a Fujitsubo Legalis exhaust,Injen CAI,Tein flex Z coilovers and some other goodies i would've looked to have done myself anyway... win win for me,and no wait for import which was even better.
Yes I'd recommend using TGT,the communication was excellent with Darren, pretty much daily update emails back and forth.

I really like this STi Legacy, obviously it still has the performance but its not a shouty car,and has some really nice equipment as well, great choice.Enjoy it,and although you'll only be doing lowish miles (prob similar to myself) that'll be a bonus in the long run,but given the chance you'll probably use it more than you think if it gets hold of you! I came pretty close to looking at something like your car, they did have a nice looking Spec B at the time ,but the Accord did suit my needs in the end,so was holding out for one with the right spec.

Nice.

If it's a keeper I'd definitely be either taking it to a specialist to do the underseal or doing it myself.

Have a look at the Bilthamber website.

It will be when it has been remapped for 99 RON. Limiter removed and will cap it at 300bhp which is a safe limit for the rods in these. It's enough for what it is.

Love it. Will be sub 5.5 at 300bhp? Plus you can get a dog in the back.
Enjoy.

Can't wait now. Just starting to buy a few bits for it.

Hope the current climate doesn't cause you issues getting it home. Back in June,I got very early trains from Kent and hooked up on the Great Western to pick the Accord up; Very scenic, once I got the Victoria to Paddington bit out the way (didnt fancy the Tube either,so got taxi from Vic to Pad).
Normally they'd pick you up from Newton Abbot in something exciting, but obviously that couldnt happen so I ended up masked up in another flipping taxi to get there. They also couldn't let me in to the main showroom building either, luckily weather was nice so did everything outside, paperwork, etc.
Darren did show me around the cars round the back and in the area your Legacy is parked though, cars mostly awaiting prep etc. Some nice metal there!More than one Tommi Makkinen EVO edition, really nice Supra, plenty of Type R stuff and the Spec B's to name but a few.
So yeah I missed out a bit on the full TGT 'experience',but the drive home from Cornwall to Kent made up for it.Long day though! As I say that was in June, but with this multiple hard Tier thing in force,I hope you find a way round it ok from wherever you are.Looks really smart.

At least you didn’t have to pay £600 to transport it to you like I did! Did mean 600 less miles on the R205 though I suppose.

Got a Trainline deal one way for £52, about 35 quid in taxis and then some fuel for home trip,so not too shabby. Its decent on fuel on a run, well, inbetween VTEC'ing it obviously. Got an Injen longarm CAI which does sound rather good at full chat.Sure the Legacy will return fairly reasonable MPG until the lead foot devil appears on the shoulder from time to time..

I have a Legacy tbSTi coming from Japan next year. It's a 2007 auto estate in grey. Can't wait, especially after all of the positive praise on here. BHP Imports managed to source one for me at an auction. I'm just waiting on detailed photos in the New Year once the Japanese return to work. Looks to be good condition and unmodified.

My only concern is the radio and nav screen and what I can do to get them UK compatible.

Common niggle on the imports, the Accord only picks up Radio 2. DAB would be nice but it's not an issue for me personally,I listen to Radio2 on and off anyway in the cars, and the 6 CD changer works perfectly so I just use that.I'm so 20th Century,me.

Why do you all go for the Jap imports? I bought a UK Legacy Estate 3.0R Spec B manual 6 Speed is there no love for these?

It's my first Jap car after years of Mercedes and I am very impressed with it so far. High Road tax and heavy fuel consumption were expected before purchase.

The twinscroll is quicker, handles better due to less weight on the nose too. They are slightly better on fuel and half the ved cost.

Also buying one from japan they are generally immaculate underneath, unlike the uk cars that have spent 14 years on the salty roads.

Great looking car op, mine was brought over on the same boat as yours, only a normal pre facelift gt for me.

Didn't use tgt, despite them being in the same town as me, because I'm tight.

Because they're generally in very clean condition, very well maintained and you're getting 260/280bhp stock which you can mod to 320ish quite easily.

They are more expensive than UK spec cars, but I think it's down to what you want it for and how you drive in terms of if you think it's worth it. Legacys are a great platform anyway, and I know if I had a 3.0 I'd still enjoy it, but the twinscroll is what I'd still want. Horses for courses.
