My Pulsar GTI-R
Discussion
Great cars and it's good to see one getting time and money spent on it...i had mine 7 years and in quite a few magazines which was nice in it's various guises.
This was from the Revs magazine shoot in about 2000/2001:
This was from a few years later, I think the paint job indicates that the cheese had slid off my cracker.

What kind of power were these putting out standard?
227 bhp as standard but they weigh very little compared to similar cars of today. At it's peak mine was spec'd to 500 bhp but i got made redundant which ended the project and it got sold in parts...the engine ended up in New Zealand making a very comfortable 400bhp.
That looks like it is getting the treatment! I have had my GTiR for 6 years now and it is just excellent, would love to give my shell similar treatment to be honest.
You can see it in my profile if you want to have a look.
Nothing better for a McDonald's car park, gets all the boys wet.

What a nob.
If we all liked the same cars life would be boring. There used to be one years ago that just used to whoosh everywhere. The guy was a tyre fitter and very proud that he could melt a set of toyos in 3k according to him.

Thanks, why did you sell up eventually after so long? I really like those wheels, what are they?dean350z said:
Looks only a mother could love but have a drive in a well modified one and you'd change your mind.
This. Although I think they look fantastic. scottdd said:

This. Although I think they look fantastic. As for selling up I'd staring working towards getting it spec'd for a 500bhp track car, it had just been rebuit at agra engineering in Scotland and I had ready to go on an HKS 3037s turbo/manifold set up, screamer pipe, Apexi pro management, fueling, coilovers and all the usual gubbins when i was unexpectedly made redundant, I tried to hang on to the car but in the end I had the break it up and sell in parts, I was gutted to say the least but these things happen.
The wheels are Raceline RL-7, apparently they were the first set of the revised design.
