Looks fantastic 2jz is an incredibly capable base engine.

1000 bhp supra is relatively easy .... It's just keeping it driveable and reliable.

I'm not normally a fan of drainpipe exhausts but at least this one is on a car worthy of it.

Got it back for the day to put a few more miles on before Ryan starts on it.

That exhaust sounds pure evil, never have i heard a supra sound like this, sounds like a proper race car the way it revs so quick

Im doing thunder road in october, standing mile event, id like to have a shot at vmax.

If i have the power to pull the revs 6th gear @ 8.5k rpm on the road tyres = 241.3mph

What would you want backpressure for?

Pulse tuning doesn't tend to work quite so well when you have a dirty great turbine sat in the way....

This is a turbo car, the exhaust gasses spool the turbo allowing it to compress more air - you want as little back pressure as possible.

This isn't an NA two stroke
