Looks fantastic 2jz is an incredibly capable base engine. thumbup

1000 bhp supra is relatively easy .... It's just keeping it driveable and reliable.

I will be watching this thread for updates.

Bloody hell, if thats what is sounds like at idle what is it going to be like at full chat. You'll be shattering windows miles away biggrin

I'm not normally a fan of drainpipe exhausts but at least this one is on a car worthy of it.

Got it back for the day to put a few more miles on before Ryan starts on it.

That exhaust sounds pure evil, never have i heard a supra sound like this, sounds like a proper race car the way it revs so quickcool

Got the interior back, thanks jurgen, looks very nicely put together.

I love that car and love that way it still looks quite subtle (just don't look at the exhausts).

Not usually a fan of these Supra'a but this is cloud9

Looks fantastic, bet you want even more power after you hit 1000!

Have you seen this, Boost Logic's Supra hitting 246mph in just 1 mile! Unreal - would leave a Veyron for dead: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xr58Fq9fwo

And here's what a load of 1000bhp Supras sound like on the dyno: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzMI4DoYl04&fea...

Im doing thunder road in october, standing mile event, id like to have a shot at vmax.

If i have the power to pull the revs 6th gear @ 8.5k rpm on the road tyres = 241.3mph

Our noise limits are 98dba static test at ¾ max revs ½ m & 45 degrees from the exhaust and 87.5 dba track side drive by.
This may be an issue?

Great, subtle looking car. smile

No, i have a quiet twin box system being built that i will run most of the time, the 5" system is for the odd time i want to make some serious noise, santapod etc.

surely with an exhaust that has 5" pipework it would be compeltely gutless low down as it would have absolutely no back pressure?

What would you want backpressure for?

Pulse tuning doesn't tend to work quite so well when you have a dirty great turbine sat in the way....

This is a turbo car, the exhaust gasses spool the turbo allowing it to compress more air - you want as little back pressure as possible.

This isn't an NA two stroke tongue out
