Nope, it's easily worked around.
And MOT tester is happy? (like you the standard steering wheel is mahoosive, and want a smaller one).

Its not something that is tested as part of an MOT apparently. I just don't like warning lights flashing at me so worked around it.

There is thread on Nutz that is worth reading. FWIW, the smaller wheel makes a HUGE difference.

Bumpity Bump.

Russ, I've heard good things about TG Aylesbury. Just gave him a call and he said a stainless rear system for my 1.8 Mk 2.5 would be £300 fitted.

Did you have the noise of your system tailored at all? Don't want anything too boomy/raspy but something more sporty than standard.

Sounded very switched on and helpful.

Yes mate, I wanted something that wasn't TOO loud driving normally but sounded nice when nailing it. I also wanted a larger diameter straight through to improve flow.

They got it spot on. Exactly as I wanted it. I notice you are localish - I'm in MK and happy to demonstrate if you want to see / hear it. Drop me a PM.

I'm usually a mk1 fan, but when I see mk2's as nice as this I start to prefer the mk2.

Lovely car mate, bet it's a right hoot. Love the rear sticker too laugh

Thanks very much, I'm not 100% sure but IIRC the boss was from Mx5 Parts.
