The Jazmobile Has Landed!
Discussion
Looks ok to me. not my thing but i have seen a lot lot worse. Some nice touches in it.
one thing that really really bugs me though
Can you move the tax disk holder down and left a bit. cheers
PS now read rest of thread and seen how much you have invested in it. Not a dig its your money etc etc and all that matters is you are happy there are obviously plenty of options you could have had for the money invested GTR/second hand 911 turbo etc etc blah blah
But as you obviously like lexus you could have had an ISF now that would be different. I have never seen on on the road.
but like I say I quite like what you have done.

About 40(ish).... C'Mon lads... You can't beat a good old Mid-Life Crisis! lol
Unfortunately a good mid life crisis requires a sports car / motorbike . . . . . . A diesel 4 door saloon “modified” in same way my neighbours 17 year old lad wants to modify a Yaris, isn’t really the same is it?Harry Flashman said:

Everyone's opinions and advice is appreciated... I suppose the thing with modding is that you don't always set off with the intention of spending what you finally do... One thing kinda leads to another and before you know where you are, you've changed just about everything.
Must admit though, I've enjoyed the journey & the shows, etc and it's felt quite good having a car that's quite individual.
Probably won't be doing so much to my next car lol :-)
Great-natured response in the face of lots of negative criticism. Some of us may not like your car, but you have a cracking attitude, chap! Must admit though, I've enjoyed the journey & the shows, etc and it's felt quite good having a car that's quite individual.

There are specialist magazines for enthusiasts fo such vehicles. Jaz Mags I think they are called.
What is the significance of the star on the headrest BTW? Does it mach your missus' tattoo?
Weird thing is, if it wasnt for the nasty wheels, and the white painted dash bits that just look cheap and nasty, lose the big nonsense stereo in the boot and the rest is pretty OK!

Have you ever been in Helensburgh? I remember seeing a very similar car with matt black boot and bonnet i think? Can't see many pictures, just a new white IS and remember the wheels. Was a while ago.
Stood out in of the middle of the boring street. i certainly gave a look
Hope you enjoy it!

Nice interior, the mods to be fair look tasteful and have had some thought put in.
I'd have gone for an M5 or XJR and some petrol money for that budget, but it's not my money, it's yours so fair play. I also agree with Harry Flashman, you are a new poster and have a reasonable attitude in the face of much piss take, good on you. It is people that have individual tastes in cars that make sites like this possible, so carry on as you were!

Yep, that was me! ... Last summer I agreed to chauffeur my friend's daughter & her pals to their school prom... The car ended up drawing a huge crowd and being photographed for the local newspaper! ... Unfortunately it was pissing with rain! On those forums which cater for that kind of thing, it would probably be very well received.

Does not really matter, utter madness is utter madness wherever you are, i was expecting my car to go down like a lead balloon but a lot of the comments in my project log were favourable so as i said daft and nutty seems to be liked everywhereBut this is Pistonheads...
