Great name btw haha, thank you for the nice message. I appreciate it. You’ll always get people that want to argue, and the more you show them up, the more they’ll show their true colours and what they’re really about. And to be honest, I don’t let them bother me, not even one bit.
You see the thing is, whilst they are thinking about me and what they can say to hopefully ‘get one over’ on me, I don’t think about them, not one bit.
And that’s just because they’re not worth occupying my mind. They can do them and I’ll do me, but I know who’s happier and not full of venom. It’s an ugly trait from an ugly person inside.
Anyway I’ll post some pictures of the car I’ll be taking to the SCD secret meet.

I do more charity work than you’ll ever do, so if I have more money, then I’ll donate more money and do better things with it, because I can control where it goes.
Just yesterday I gave some Wimbledon tickets to some young kids so they could watch in centre court. I could have sold them and pocketed the money but I didn’t. I also gave away my F1 tickets for Silverstone this weekend because I’m busy, I didn’t sell them. I gave them away.
On Instagram in a few short minutes I’ll be donating 4 x Goodwood FOS tickets for Thursday to anyone that suggests someone for their good deeds.
On the Friday I’m flying a terminal man called Steve down to Goodwood via helicopter as it’s on his wish list.
The Saturday and Sunday I’ll have some very special Goodwood tickets from Cartier as my 275 will be shown on their lawn and they are giving me free accommodation, meal at Goodwood house, passes, drives up the hill, free food and drink, the lot. However instead of going, I’ll also be donating this on Instagram too.
So please mate, stop, because you’re making yourself sound like a fool.
And as far as paying your fair share goes, I still stand by that. It comes back to the whole socialist bit from before. I mean it’s Economics 101.
If more comes out than what goes in then soon there’ll be nothing in the pot. Then everyone suffers.

Well just tucked up in bed coming back to this thread after reading last night…….jeez, a lot of action and not so much about cars.
I’ve been in Dubai 10yrs now and whilst I won’t wade into the debate too deeply but as a proud Yorkshireman, I love home and during my time here, I love it here too. It’s treated me and my family (wife & 2 boys, 3 & 8) very well. We live a modest life and have humble friends. Despite the glitz, glamour and fakeness there is still a decent lifestyle to be had and the beauty of the desert, the coast (and winter weather) is great.
No, it’s far from perfect. There’s questionable things that happen (or have happened in the past). Some things in the press are completely blown out of proportion (because it sells) yet other things are probably true. No right or wrong in what people think but we all have a choice and it’s the one you take which matters.
We will leave before too long, but I’ll look back with fondness. All the friends we’ve made, the cultural diversity our kids have enjoyed & their friends, the career progression it’s helped us achieved, the places we’ve traveled and the way we (and any expat) were treated during situations like covid put other expat populated cities to shame.
I forgot the most important thing……cars! Pete you’ll be in your element! Even with my humble lifestyle, I’ve enjoyed some mega cars (by my standards not yours) and some which wouldn’t easily be as possible elsewhere……oh and cheap fuel.
All this said, I love the UK and although I’m deeply aware of challenges back home too. Nowhere is perfect, but wherever you are, if you’ve got your family and health then you’re doing pretty good.
Pete, I’m well connected out here. If you need any advice, shout up. I work in education so pretty well placed to advise on schools (when you get to that stage). You can’t go far wrong though, some amazing places out here.

Massively appreciate the help, especially with the schooling. So expect a message soon haha. I have quite a few friends over there and they have some crazy cars. So when I get over there it looks like the competition will be on. Hopefully you’ll still be there when I get there and we can have a beer or water. Pete, how will you relationship with ferrari continue. Given in both your collections you've bought a lot of ferrari's how is that going to work in Dubai?
Just thinking given how much money is there and Ferraris clients in Dubai where would you stand in terms of special cars, car launches and allocations?
Also is your Singer relationship non existent now? I can't imagine they are too fond with A. blasting their hand built car as a Friday car on Pistonheads B. selling it
p.s. how many 695 Tribuno are for sale in Dubai?

Yeah I’m not really that fussed about the Singer relationship, really nice people who work there but the car just didn’t work for me.
